Description : This site needs a Hardstyle genre, I think.. Anyways, words written and sung by yours truly. I was hired by Los Angeles DJ Lady Faith and produced by Andrew Bullett, an excellent audio engineer with a ton of talent and skill. I know nothing about this genre but it was said that my voice seemed to match the genre so I gave it a shot. This song was designed for being performed at EDM events and other things; I cropped out the intro and outro parts and this is also still a WIP.

About 15 years ago I was a big fan of Hardcore which was a very huge genre in Holland. I haven't listened to Hardcore or Hardstyle for many years but this song kinda took me back...or at least the bassdrum did, typical hardcore kick.
Maybe I'm old, but I don't like the style... the vocals were great though and fit perfectly. I'd love to hear those vocals in a more melodic dance part.
Anyway, I promised some lads to join them at some big hardstyle party, if this song comes by I will tell :D
Not a big fan of hardstyle, but your voice sounds good in this. reminds me of. Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet). Marc et Claude.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWWNTCyc1aE&html5=1
Your voice would work with many genres.
Cru
I don't like this hard sound .... doesn't work with my ears or musical taste at all but as others have said the voice is great.
You should be trying this voice of yours on many genres.
The winner in this track for me is the voice .... a very saleable one I'm thinking.
I just wrote a long comment which just disappeared!
Well, anyway.
The intro until 0:40 love it love it love it!
GREAT vocal and I agree that your tone of voice suites all these dance genres really well, not just hardstyle (which I really don't know that much about and don't even like perticularly) but you should really try some vocal house type of genre also.(Maybe you have already, I've been away!)
The lead synth sounded good when filtered and toned down but I didn't like it that much in the full blown energy parts. It's sounding so squeeky (right word?) and kind of flat. But I guess that's hardstyle for you...
Also congratz for the collab, this will be great exposure!
It's no doubt a great song with your vocal being the star of it.
As a dutch guy I am very familiar with hardstyle(been to a lot of hardcore parties in my younger days). To be honest I think the only thing really standing out is the vocals. The track itself is very solid and definetly well produced but sounds like any other hardstyle song. BUT the vocals make this track that bit of extra that it needed to be a winner.
You did a really good job writing and singing.

I totally agree with you here. The interesting paradox of Hardstyle is that most listeners want something "new" but if it deviates from a few VERY important unwritten rules in hardstyle (of which I do not know), then you will gather the haters/complainers haha. They do not like "new" stuff, only "old stuff" rehashed in a different package it seems. :P I'm not saying this is you, but for the most part, its a dilemma producers run into when making Hardstyle music haha. Though I'm glad you liked the vocals :P
Lady Faith and Sir Bullett, mmmmm, sounds a bit like people from a western movie :)
The voice sounds good to me. So i would say you where right, when you told us that he is a skilled one. But all know that a engineer cant make some dirt to gold, so YOU done the vocals realy good :) - i realy enjoyed them!
Overall sound sounds also good to me but is far from what i hear normaly. But for some special moments, when a kind of power will be needed, it would work perfect. This is very powerfull.
The only real melodie (for me) comes from the vocals and like said befor - real nice work -
The synth work fits well to the track.
I bet that people who are into this kind of music, will love it.
