Nice work Steve, this one is so chilled it cooled off my morning coffee, haha. Seriously, it really is a nice mix of some really good loops. You really have grown as a composer and arranger over the past 4 years or so, and have now set yourself apart from the pack (in a good way). Really well done. I hope all is well.
Thank you Bear.
It takes me a long time to find the loops I like but when I do it falls in to place nicely. The bad part is I actually like my own tracks and have to listen to them ??? Is this wrong ??
You should do more chill Steve...this is really good...when I looked at the hard limiting on the Wav picture I expected a big pumping mix but it sounds good (synth is a lot more forgiving that acoustic instruments)....the vocal is good and it has a nice balance of the warm, low & higher/lighter sounds...nice smoooooth listening over my side of the pond....well done...Ed
The vocals sit so well in the mix that they're integrated with the fabric of the track, and I love the beautiful synth hooks that are weaving through as we move to minute two. The bells are gorgeous; it can be hard to find/make bells that are both in tune AND interesting, and these strike that balance. This is a sweet track; I love how it develops over time.
Way to go Steve, That intro is mysterious and compelling. I wasn't expecting vocals then and that particular type of vocals over a chill beat and chord structure. But it works well. One hand hitting the other in a repetitive motion is the sound your deserve for this work.

Hey dude, this is pretty sweet! I'm hearing some flavors that I've come to appreciate from music made by the group "TuneYards." If you haven't heard them, I suggest you check it out on youtube or whatever, they have some cool songs/videos. I'm especially liking the slow attack string parts in this, they add a lot of tension to the mix. I would enjoy the overall song far more if the mastering was eased back a bit... as to turn it up very far I need to risk my ears a bit. I like chill out, and other music forms, to use my amps and speakers more fully rather than be boosted too much before-hand. I love the ideas contained here and the instrument choices! Great song! Fave.
Well done Steve. I enjoyed this one from you. Always good to hear from another Magix user.

Great! I listened to a few tracks before this and was confused as to where the good ones were. This one got me right from the start, love it. Big fan of chill out music. This one sounds good, good tempo, good sound quality, I'm sure I heard some strings in there which is just a winner for me.
Thanks for sharing, was a pleasure to hear your work.
Chill out music at its finest. Great use of the vocals and the bells are still sounding in my head eventhough the song has ended :p. Maybe you could lower the gain just a little. Nevertheless a toptrack!
Hi mate! I can only join Danke in praising this wonderful work...chill at it's best! Whos are those vocals?...they sound fabulous!
We don't see you much around here lately, but when you appear you deliver exquisite material! Keep the thing going!:)
Cheers Orlando the lyrics are from magix and as I said to Danke I have had a blank spell and took ages to finish one of my many tracks. Thanks for the comment mate
Sensational track Steve...no comments, no dl, no likes??? Stg happened with Looperman's(as the page) visit...not much interest in the last few weeks...hmmm...or just it's simply the end of summer's pain...:-)
That vocs are brilliant and the music under it more likely...your tasteful arrangement is exemplery...
Hello Danke Long time no see hear lol. Sorry I had a big blank spell and couldn't finish anything I had started but this is one of my finished pieces finally. Thanks for listening and for the comment mate. Now to listen to some others on hear that I haven't seen on hear before.

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

This is a tasteful bit of chillout and the bells and string parts in the intro are quite mysterious yet inviting.
Are those just pure Magix samples or have you actually arranged those notes in any way?
Fairly powerful vocals, which takes it in a very different direction that I wasn't expecting. More of a chilled pop music style now.
1:12 that's a cool synth melody. This is is sitting and chilling nicely now.
The rest is pretty similar so not much more to say about it.
Oh, and I agree with Spivkurl that the mix/master is too loud. This is chillout, not pumping d'n'b.
Congrats.
