Description : Here's a lil' acoustic instrumental I never wrote words to. Used a Guild acoustic guitar mic'd with an AKG C214 and my trusty ol' Yamaha MOX8 for other instruments (excluding shaker - that was real ;). You can find the guitar loops to this song on my profile page. Maybe one of you looperpeeps can come up with something for words on this. Otherwise, enjoy le moosic :3

I've credited you in the description as well as left a link to the song down there too :) i know you posted this a little while a go now so not sure if you'll see this comment but i'll leave a link to the video here incase you want to check it out! really enjoying your current work too

What a brilliant tune! It says great things about your artistry when someone can listen to an instrumental and immediately hear a story; that is exactly what happened as I listened to this beautiful track. Well done, you!
Has anyone stepped forward to lend their vocal, yet? If not, I would like to give it a go. Let me know.
If I wasn`t already a fan I sure would be after listening to this one E.R...you`ve outdone yourself again man...this is the real kind of stuff that I just love to listen to...go to the head of the class....hope you get the vocal you want..the track definitely invites one.....bravo....Ed
Loving how clean the mix is epic. Really really great work here! I love the overall vibe of the song too. The strings sit next to the guitar beautifully and make it a really clean sounding song!
spellbinding. beautiful guitar sound, great intonation, the strings fill things out beautifully. wonderful listen. i might even let the strings sing over the guitasr a little more sometimes. all the best. Dan
Your music especially your guitar skills is amazing. But your stuff goes beyond your skill with the guitar piano and whatever you play, you also have a very creative mind and your music is always very inspiring and a pleasure to listen to.
And damn your mixes are clean man. Among the best of them.
I've been playing guitar since I was in the 8th grade - just kinda picked it up, my brother showed me the G, C and D chords. I didn't like standard tuning so I changed it to open D; this song was recorded in open-D :P I learned standard tuning later. Music runs on the boys' side of the family so it came a little bit easier for me than for some.
The clean mixes are just the accumulation of 3 years of trial and error, nothing fancy :P
This is absolutely. Wonderful. Love the composition and melody. That guitar sounds so clean, and the strings are a perfect compliment to them. I would be very picky with vocals to this track considering how nicely it works just by itself. Great job man!
Your verses remind me of Goo Goo Dolls' Iris. Mostly the strummed rhythm. Sounds really well recorded.
What can be said about this that has not been said? Cleanly done and pretty slick sounding. Nothing I've never heard before,(not unique or exciting), but I could not pull it off sounding as good as you have here.
This track just needs unique vocals and lyrics to make it special. Sounds great as is, but needs something to make it stand out.
I hope I was not too negative. I like receiving criticism, though I'm learning that others are not as receptive.
No worries, Evisma. I love the Goo Goo Dolls. Their guitar work is quite inspiring for me since it has such a timeless sound to it. Also, I like criticism because it makes me want to improve :P Thanks for the listen. This song is pretty common I agree, only because I couldn't find a melody I liked for this chord progression haha.
This is the best kind of music; simple in theory, but beautifully executed. I wish I could get a guitar sampled half as good as that. You have my envy and admiration! May have a go at vocals tomorrow, just to explore the potential. Good work :)
Nice sounding combination with the mic and guitar. I have a cheaper AKG and I've always wanted a nice Guild acoustic, damn, sounds great man!
This is prime for some vox, the composition is wonderfully written and recorded, hat's off to you! Why don't you throw down some words, you have the pipes? For an instrumental it stands on it's own.
Thanks, Static. I was tempted to try and add drums but I haven't quite taken the time to try and find some that fit; not that this song really needs it. I will see about adding my voice to this song. Thanks for the thoughtful words, they are always appreciated.
Brilliant composition, arrangement and production...but we know it from you...it could be a heaven for a singer (for a great singer)...you built this song for singing and that's why all my hat's off...:-)

This is a surprise, for those was young in 1999, for the beloved Patricia (and the gift of her voice) and my brothers Nous2 and Jamid, kind people i met here. Let's go crying guys, hope you enjoy.
Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...
Description : Remastered March 2023. Recorded live on two mics. For my wee daughter Tui; I wrote it sitting on the bathroom floor, keeping her company while she was in the bath....

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.

The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..

I'll see what I can come up with. It's just hard to find the time with school and all.

I keep expecting your voice to appear in this. I can kind of hear it in my head - guess I've got to know it quite well.
I can also hear that the structure is perfectly suited to songwriting.
Lovely, warm guitar sound. You're definitely good at recording/processing it.
There's also a pretty effective string sound on this (maybe more than one) and the twinkly bell stuff adds some useful extra vibe.
No criticism on the production as it's full and at fat and I'm not missing the lack of drums. Shaker is good enough for the groove.
Congrats.
Handshake, Danke
