Description : 11-8-15 Added Vocals still needs more Vocals for the Middle Verse.
Been trying to get a couple projects ready for play in between life's curve balls. This one is pretty much done music wise. I have a working vocal line that needs more lyrics but I am trying to polish it enough to release so I can get feed back on it. I suck at singing so it will never be great. :)

Drums are Addictive Drums. All guitars and bass are myself.

Your vocals are fine :p The Vocalist for My Dying Bride said in an interview he's a vocalist not a singer because he understands he can't hit the notes like a singer. You sound just as good , even better than some, ;) professional rock bands out there. I like the addition. Ever heard Brittany Spears sing without pitch correction? It's AWEFUL!!!

Wish granted, now where's my hammer and nails ;) I've heard plenty of artist that can't sing but that doesn't stop them!! People love it raw :D Love it when the bass is doing it's own thing and not playing exactly what the guitar is doing. \m/

I think it is mostly a subconscious thing on my part. I hear great singing voices in my head but struggle to get anything close to that and become super critical. I am going to just say fuck it and do the vocals the best I can and see what others think. I also love when the bass and guitars do contrasting parts, it's just tough to get that to work and following the rhythm is what I wind up settling with. I need to challenge myself a bit more.
Thanks for giving it a listen. I should have vocals added in a week to ten days.

Again those dirty, crunchy, cool, catchy guitar riffs and melodies...tune is animal...part from 0.47 and later is awesome...Evisma tells the truth about the lead...or you wanted with sliding?

Anyways, great track, Danke

Yeah I was going for an odd lead that would start out a bit off and catch up but without the vocals in the mix it does sound a little F'd. :) Thanks for taking the time to give it a listen.

Sounds like goddamn Clutch again! Uncanny.

1:07 lead's timing sounds off. Sounds like you're going for an odd rhythm there. The wild flanging effect is pretty cool. I hear it mostly on the right.

Bassline sounds more advanced than the main guitar, but the rhythm guitar is quite solid.

Yes, vocals. ALL of your stuff deserves vocals. Always solid riffery.

Hey Evan thanks for checking it out and for the feedback. The lead does sound a bit off in timing at the start. I was trying to go for an odd "catch up" Lead and it sounds better with the vocals I had present in the track. I Muted them when rendering because they were far from done. I will see if I can't move them a slight bit to sit better. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
