Description : A new song that I wrote, I played all the instruments and sang, the drums are from EZ drummer. The track is kind of a cross genre rock track. If you like it feel free to download. Thanks for listening.
Not a huge fan of country rock, but I am truly impressed with the sound quality you achieved in this recording. The guitars sound awesome. nice work

The very first thing that struck me about this is the quality of your acoustic guitar recording. Lovely, warm totally pro sound. I'd like to have that sort of sound but don't have a proper acoustic. Two resonators but no proper acoustic.
Some of the guitar playing is a nice combination of somewhat funky and I feel that I can hear the details of your fingers strumming. What a difference a great recording of an instrument makes.
Song is pretty solid but nothing special to my ears. It does sound like radio music. The changes all work just fine.
Bass does a really good supporting job.
1:10 maybe that electric guitar solo could be a bit louder as the acoustic is still dominating. Maybe that's how you want it.
Congrats on a really good production. Doesn't really matter if I'm not that into the songwriting style. I'm sure others are.
Hey Static thanks for the input, I agree that the solo needs to come up a little, I will get to that here soon. I appreciate the compliments on the production, I have really been trying to focus on my production skills, so it must be paying off. Anyway, thanks again for the listen and the feedback, I appreciate it.
Dang! I'm really blown away by this one! You've come a heck of a long way in the past year! This one sounds so much better production-wise than some of your old stuff. Your voice in particular sounds much more professional. The only thing I notice is a lack of bass presence, but besides that, the mix is great and everything sounds wide and clear. Great work and epic improvement!
Thanks Brado, I have really tried to concentrate on the production side of my track. I used to just record and move a few faders and be done, now I actually try to eq things, add compression and what not. I am glad you are hearing a difference, I must actually be learning something :), anyway thanks for stopping by and having a listen.
Not my kind of Rock, a country fusion sound, but your voice instantly reminded me of Dylan and his son. Don't hear many decent singers on here. It was good to hear your vocals.
Guitars are pretty minimal. Simple structure, but it sounded like something you'd hear on the radio. I don't think you were going for originality, but it sounds good without having to be complicated.
Hey Evan, I appreciate the vocal complement, I wish I were a better singer but I have come to except what I have. This song started on accident really, I was trying to find some guitar tones that I liked and then I ended up writing this while messing around, a normal process I guess. Thanks for listening, I appreciate it.
great job and great song. I love all the guitar tracks that you got layered in. but in parts I feel they guitars tracks volume are to high. like the solo at 3:02 was very cool but volume to low and got over whelmed by the other guitar tracks. good job sorry trying not to sound so critical.
Hey adamms, thanks for listening and the download. I agree that the guitar solo is a bit hard to hear. I will try to fix that soon and then update the track. Thanks again
Nice one!
Against your profile's text, i think you have enough nice vocal. At least i can imagine this track on most local (hungarian) radio stations. There's tons of a lot worse singers, lol.
Very tasty accompaniment with just the right amount of embellishment bits to compliment the basic rhythm parts...as always, you do a fine job on the lyrics Kyle & deliver them with that cool vocal character you have...really enjoyed this one...great job...Ed
Thanks Ed, I appreciate your feedback as always. I am finally starting to get some more time to write and record more, so hopefully I can do at least one track per month. I have really been trying to concentrate on learning to mix and master my tracks better, which I think is one of the funnest aspects of the whole songwriting process. Thanks again for listening.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : So I had a guitar lick for years that I never did anything with. I was going to try to write a country song with it, instead it turned into kind of retro rock track. I am pretty happy with the end result, I think it turned out better than my initial idea. I sang and played all of the instruments on the track. The drums are from Ez Drummer, which is awesome in my opinion. Thanks for listening, if you like the track please feel free to download.
