Description : A change from my busy frenetic stuff to a more laid back vibe. A jazzy bluesy feel? Trying to give a sense of listening to the radio in a nice space with a nice face. Have I pulled it off though?

If you have time take a listen and give silverman some feedback.
That was a proper journey of music. I could easily lie down with my eyes closed listening to this, and imagine myself in a completely different place altogether. Well, I did kind of do that, it's just I was sitting up in my chair!
The only criticism I have, is that it just wasn't long enough. I could have easily listened to this for double the length of time and not get bored. Loved it.
I see this as a bit of a leftfield dance track with jazzy elements.
I still really have no idea how you make your music as you never seem to explain that at all in your track descriptions. Is it mostly samples? Are you, for instance, playing the sax in via a keyboard?
Main sax riff is driving and quite funky, with the bass throbbing.
0:55 brass is pretty cool and then there's a nice jazzy load of sax playing starting 1:02.
1:03 what's that right panned funky little, insistent instrument?
Then a nice load of harmonics as the track really chills out and gets spacier.
Then crashing, groovy funk drums.
1:50 return to the previously established chill but now with a dance beat underneath.
This is quite creative stuff and busy for only a couple of mins so far
Lots more returning to previous themes as the track continues though not that much for me to say about them.
"a little long winded in places"
Yes, you could probably cut down the second half a bit and not lose much that would be noticed as missing.
Just samples and a lot of playing about with soft synths VST's etc. Not sure which right hand thingy me bob you mean here.
My main weapons of choice are Acid pro 6 and LMMS ... identical to Fruity Loops.
Plus a little guitar and Yamaha DJX keyboard here and there and now and then.
I think you got the radio sound down for sure. I like that the sax is panned a bit to the right, helps it to feel a bit larger, as if in a room. Great job, thanks for this one!
Sunday morning here, this is just the tonic to listen too first off in the morning, great production on this one, nice vocal, yep you hit the bluesy jazz feel, have to agree with Zergmastzer that this sounds like you are listening in a up market lounge, chilling with a drink...impressive work...instant fav right from the very start...Peace n much respect to you on this one...mosaic..
Thanks for listening Mo it means a lot.
New area for me so it actually took me quite some time to get it to this point. I wanted to put some piano in there but totally failed. I can not for the life of me get piano into a mix but never say never.
Up market in a sentence involving anything to do with me is a very novel idea indeed!
Thanks for listening and commenting.
I like this one silverman..nice smooth vibe..a bit of R&B - Jazz feel...You have the mix in a nice space too...feel like I should be sitting at a back table sipping on something cool....great job...Cheers...Ed
Thank you Tumble. I might take it down and try for a little more depth and a little more stuff in there irt sounds a little long winded in places now but you know what it's like creating these things having to listen to the same bit over and over and over until your happy with it and then it gets tempting to repeat thaty bit a few to many times ... that's me at the moment.
Silverman you never cease to amaze me with the interesting concepts for tunes you come up with, and this certainly a prime example.
I have referred to this track as "Smooth Jazz With A Pulse." Very laid back vibe as stated with a disco-ish dance track. All the
the musical elements work very in this tune,
and it was simply a joy to listen to. "Red Shoes For Him? Red Shoes For Her? Or Red Shoes For The Rest of Us All? This track is just too groovy to pass up.
Thanks for your kind words Den. I just want to paint pictures and create feelings and spaces and places using sound. Sometimes it works sometimes not. Thanx for your comments.

I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...

Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
The only criticism I have, is that it just wasn't long enough. I could have easily listened to this for double the length of time and not get bored. Loved it.
