Description : As in the forum thread....do you ever stumble upon old work or compositions of yours? Cause this is one of those tracks, I mean it ain't even a real track but still it emphasizes the fact that simple can be powerfull.
Now for the story...this track has got some years, about 5 or so, it was only a playaround with new toys kind of thing, took about 30 minutes to create (out of which 15 where used to find sounds), and I left it there in the studio. Someone accidentally printed this to tape and I just found it today on an old GP9 tape. Somehow those last minutes on that tape never got recorded :))
Anyways...turn up your volume cause this isn't really loud.
Cheers!

If you have time take a listen and give Mahloo13 some feedback.
Wow only 30 friggin minutes. This is great for 30 minutes. I'd be still sitting here trying to find a million loops. Lol Sometimes it takes me hours to find and select ones I like and ones that work together. But I'm no producer either, so...there's that. Anyway, it's a very simple, short and artistic piece of work that I couldn't do in 30 days let alone 30 minutes. I'm jealous and hope to be as good as you some day Mahloo! I will keep working on it! :-) Great work!
Simple can be very powerful! Is that you singing? Love the ethereal sound of world music, makes for for some fkn awesome metal too! I like loading my player up with bands like the moon and the night spirit, faun, mari boine, there's a there's a middle eastern one I like, can't think of their name. So many flavors so much inspiration to be had! Check these guys out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZUii7K_QTU I love finding old compositions and going arrgh what hell was I thinking LOL! or wow I need to finish this with all my new knowledge.
Tracks like this make me glad I didn`t get stuck (as most of my bandmates and their generation did) it the musical groove we spent our youths in...there is just so much good music all over this planet...I find it a pleasure to set my own limitations aside and just listen to, and admire the feelings conveyed by this kind of music...thanks for posting this one Mahloo...damn...I enjoyed it a lot.....cheers...Ed
Hey Mahloo, nice work man (listening on a pair of Grado RS2's and the mix sounds great!)...I've always been into Middle Eastern and World music and the plethora of instruments which that implies. I can listen to material like this all day especially those Duduk lines, it's nasally ethereal quality always blows my mind...you never cease to impress with your professional acumen, the Loop is lucky to have you around!...cheers Dave
Believe it or not but I also love Middle Eastern and wolrd instruments. I've actually had the pleasure of working with talented people from all over the world and it never ceases to amaze me how a couple of notes played where they don't belong can define a sound and create a distinct and recognizable sonic image.
The duduk I absolutely love and having listened to the real thing it just blew my mind. It's one of those instruments that just needs a bit of reverb and delay and it sounds incredible. Works great on dark tunes.
There isn't really a mix here, it was just a reverb and everything went to tape through a neve console. It wasn't supposed to get printed but in the end i'm glad someone didn't pay attention to what they are printing.
Well, that was different than I expected lol. Still better than 90 percent of orchestral producers on the loop haha. Good stuff, pleasant listen. As always!

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!
Description : Just send me the link where you use that, please
Anyway, I'm looking for artists, especially doing melodic techno, deep house etc... to work in my music label called Chick Records

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.
Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”

Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.

Believe it or not I do work a lot with orchestra stuff as a matter of fact we are scoring an orchestral piece as we speak :D
I did a lot of stuff in chillout, symphonic, orchestra and movie scoes in the past. It's allways a pleasure.
