Description : We meet again... This is a little electronic, hip hop, alt rock inspired song its a little crazy with weird ass samples and strange tempo manipulation but i think its pretty cool. As always im NOT done yet, need to add to the chorus but everything other than a final mix is pretty much how its going to be. Theres some clipping at points but ill fix that in the final mix. Theres no loops or anything only vocal samples so feel free give me any advice or feedback on what you think i could improve! that would be awesome! or if you just think its cool as is that would be helpful to know also.. this is a long ass description sorry, ill go now Bye!. Are you supposed to say Bye in a description? i dont think so, oh well. Hope you enjoy!.... *whispers* "bye"

p.s noticed some popping in this at some points, ill fix that for the final mix

great beat. this use of vocal (and other) hits along the way is very effective. And very interesting transition by grinding everything to a halt at 2:05. Very interesting/entertaining stuff. Have fun refining! Regards - Dan (p.s. You Better Repent! LOL!)

Thanks Dan!

"vocal (and other) hits along the way is very effective"

the vocal samples has became a bit of a passion for me these days. Finding the right one and manipulating it into the track is alot of fun.

"interesting transition by grinding everything to a halt at 2:05"

YEAH! my favourite part of the track to make to be honest.

"p.s. You Better Repent! LOL!"

haha! possibly the best vocal sample i have XD

Cheers Dan always a pleasure to hear from you buddy

Were legit listening to this while microwaving food. I was standing there listening, and in my head I felt like no one understands me. I feel like I don't fit in anywhere in the real world. I feel like an outsider, just this weird thing just existing for no reason.

everyone is an outsider and you do start off existing for no reason but in time its up to you to find or create a reason for existing. Similar to the words in the song you are only given a little spark of life you need to turn that into something and not waste it.
For me its making music, its not the best reason nor is it the worst but its my reason lol

As for the no one understanding you, as long as you understand yourself thats all that matters. Dont be put down by the thoughts or actions of other people.

Ever need to talk about this shit just message me buddy :)

Pft.. you want me to give away vital production secrets!? haha jk
Its mostly a vst called dBlue Glitch it has a setting for slowing down the tempo, i just messed with the settings in that to get the desired effect.. Then for the end of it i think i used a vst called decimate to turn the sample rate down to give that noise effect.

Hope thats helpful :)

Amazing work! .. the track is flawless.. it does have a fraction too much bass for my own taste, but that is neither here nor there

Your musical talent is equally as strong as your sound production. nice job

thanks man, there may be too much bass. My headphones dont deal with bass well so i just have to go off the levels and EQ meter to gauge if its ok, but ill wait to see if anyone else has that problem too.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.

Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.

Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

Description : Far out mid-tempo fat beat deep chillout grooves with Eastern/Arabic and slightly menacing vibes, huge delayed synth bass and a great palette of psychedelic layered and intricate sounds (mostly synths) and a stirring, epic feel. Even has guitar solo section reminiscent of some 80s power rock which is then followed by a brief synth harp solo. I began making it straight after staying round the flat of the flute player from the legendary Ozric Tentacles - easily the greatest ever space rock band. I made this in about 2001 and still think it might be my best track (and it's nice and short, for a change). My production skills were much weaker in those days (no EQ, compression or mastering used here) but, somehow, this one turned out pretty much just right. Feel free to disagree. Now sit back and get ready to trip extremely far out. If you manage to return, let me know how that trip was...
