Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !

This is really a relaxing piece of music, and also mysterious in the very best of ways!
For some reasons I started getting flashbacks of various songs form The Doors, such as "Riders On The Storm." Maybe if Jim M had lived much much longer, then The Doors would have delved into works such as this. Once people like Ed and yourself made it past age 27, then you already had an advantage though. When you work together, that sort of advantage really shows in the work!
This is beautifully composed and very special sounding, in range and depth. I could almost imagine that I was listening to the authentic versions of the represented instruments. The unusual synthetic aspects added so much interest, and were nearly unexpected. I like the unexpected, in most cases!
Very fun and pleasing to the ears! Can't wait to hear more from your "band" as it's always a pleasure! Fave!
Sorry for the late reply Pat, but lately I'm here and there all the time...:)
Most intetresting that the Doors and "Riders" come to mind,
very generous indeed. Yeah, I think we did it with Ed quite nicely this time and thank you so much for recognizing that
and also thanks for the 'fav'...means alot!
Beautiful ! So full of peace, so relaxing...
That flute is lovely.
The instruments compliment each other so well and it flows so naturally it's like the gentle stream of a river refreshing you inside of your head.
A talented collab, great track guys.
Cheers !
Leon, another winner. I love how your production brings a different value to Ed´s melody. 1:42 the heart of the emotion of the piece shines through. The strings (as zacoos pointed out ) bring a melancholic feel to the piece. The rhythm is definitely Ed. I like the use of SFX as well, creates a nice ambience, even some reverse sounds. A lot of good production went into this one. great work.
Steve
You guys really know how to work together and create some fantastic stuff. This one is sugar to my ears. The sounds are so clear and vivid. If this track would be 1 hour I still be listening to it all as it doesnt get boring. Respect!
So soothing and relaxing, healing in fact! What a beautiful piece you have here, it truly is a work of art, please keep these coming, you can really loose yourself in this! Quality sir!
Lovin this. A beautiful tapestry of sounds. Captivating and
enchanting.
The only thought I had was that the drums could be a bit more varied.
A taste thing really....more an observation than a criticism, said in
the spirit of perfection :))
I too use a USB MIDI keyboard but I can never get it to sound like yours!
In fact before coming on here tonight I've spent an hour or more with my head phones on having a glass of Irish and enjoying the bazillion sounds I can create at my finger tips. Just swirling them around my head.
I came away with nothing.
If I'm still here in a hundred years I might be as good as you but ... you'll always be a hundred years ahead of me!
Another piece that screams .... why the hell aren't you releasing albums?
Wow, Orlando. Nice write-up on this one in additional to super interesting track. I've been out of the loop for a while so I don't know how many of these collabs you have been doing with Ed but they are beautiful. Big fav! Regards, Dan
Many thanks for this positive feedback and the 'fav' Dan.:)
Really means alot! We're doing collabs regularly since 2014
mostly within few months intervals, sometimes even less. Our last collab was posted just a month ago and I hope there will be many more cause working with Ed is a true blessing...:)
another stunning track mr.orlando...everything is perfect...those fxes and that shadowed piano too...rhythm section is copyright by Ed, if I close my eyes I could 98%/ bet that it's coming from him...mood is superb...like a world music theme...what I very much like in your creations, is the free spirit...jammy melodies, huge instrumentations...all in all, another outstanding song from the lab...fav, dl, handshake, Danke
Thank you so much my friend...so nice to hear your kind and encouraging words. This one was a special treat cause I decided to deal with some more instruments than usual when doing collabs with Ed...there was even one more instrument
which was mixed out later on...this will certainly stay as a memorable experience to me particularly when I think that I managed to compose and record some of my nicest violin parts to date...I rarely say something in self-praising manner (in most cases right the opposite) but when I do it must have firm ground in my conviction.
Many thanks again for all the support and another'fav'!:)
So I was listening to a piece and trying to get through it but couldn't because it just didn't change - 4 minutes of a 12-second melody loop isn't really a song. So I abandoned it and went looking for something I could sink my teeth into and when I saw the honored names of these collaborators I clicked play. And was not, never am disappointed. You guys know how to do it. The piece moves. It changes. It evolves. It rolls like a river through changing terrain. It has layers of sound, of mood, of feeling that engage your ears and mind and heart and hold them, breathless, while the music carries you on its journey. This is music you can listen to over and over again and continually hear new things, because there's a cinematic complexity to the harmony. Great work, as always!
Hi mate...when I read the first sentence I wasn't sure what
I 'm reading about..haha...but everything became clear very quickly. It's a rare privilege to get such a positive
and lovely response as this one is ! Thank you so much for your great words and kindness !:)
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

This is my first attempt at creating a virtual environment to tell a story and convey emotion. Hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : ambient, guess i was trying to blur the lines between soundscape and music or something like that. will still edit here and there. put it on, lie back and sift. bass loop from LM's megapaul - darktimes and danwilson - drug induced crush
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
Description : Ambient, Chill Out, Cinematic .... I´m not sure ... Take your headphones. Close your eyes. Start the engines and have a ride into the unknown. A spacy little trip from somewhere into anywhere outside. - U_P_D_A_T_E - I made a video to this track. So you can enjoy now the flight with open eys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON4u0bRZJ4k
