Awesome - if you are not a film score writer, you should be - this shows incredible talent and creativity and I bet Vangelis would be stoked to hear this and dob you the proverbial chapeau of approval. Everything moves you through a futuristic, dream landscape to go off into space. I love the staccato drum beats at 4.48 in and the robotic female voice - perfect to end with that voice, too, wrapping up the voyage story. Kay0s of VN
I haven't seen the new movie yet, I have seen the previous film. This is a very cool production, certainly suites the first one and sure it works for the new one too. Great emotion and tension throughout the track, the arrangement lets it build and fall and tells quite a story.
Absolutely fantastic !!!!!!! If you have not yet seen the new movie you are going to shit at how close some of this is to the soundtrack. I was in line to see one of the first showings of Blade Runner 2049 here locally. It is incredible in both sight and sound. This is an amazing track bro, I'm totally blown away. I cant download this fast enough !!!!!
thank you. means alot to me. always been a fan of vangelis. yes the new film(like the first) is one you have to get the best viewing for the visuals. if you ever get a chance to see the making of the first film, see it. they went to extremes to get that atmosphere, to the point of hardship. and they blasted the vangelis soundtrack while filming to inspire the feeling.
mindheist this is amazing, the original bladerunner music was epic for me an iconic movie. I will always remember the Belt of orion speech made by Rutger Hauer he played the replicant so well. The music was a critical and essential element of that movie and i am looking forward to seeing the new one. I am sure vangelis would be proud of you this is superb, faved. Best regards.
thank you so much. blade runner was ahead of its time. did you know that Rutger adlibed that speech? he felt it was deeper meaning the what was scripted.
That nicely done mate
I've got to listen to the blade score again
it's been a long time...
But i just hears fews seconds of a theme lately and it looks like really cool
Keep on good job !
Really epic and sophisticated. A great tribute to Vangelis.
0:44 lovely new synth enters. Great pitch bends. Then cool, lush strings.
2:43 choir (synth?) sounds lovely.
Lots more changes and variety and progression so I will have to return to offer more detailed thoughts on the rest.
A good, epic length to suit the grand scope of this music. This certainly isn't pop music!
Big congratulations and respect for being able to make something like this. It's a favourite for me and also will be for Crucethus and probably many others on here.
thank you, StaticNomad. really means alot. those pitch blends are iconic. wasn't sure if I got it just right. I wish I had a good synth choir, but thats was a loop i had sitting for a year, looking for the right use.

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
