Bleep i am loving this track nice n quirky intro and the whistling and the vocs are amazing its just an unusual and very nice track. Its one of your very best and my favorite from you. I loved every second of it man total respect so cool.. faved best regards Robbie.
Your compliments affect me a lot, I thank you for it!!
i can send you this track if you want? if it's the case, give me your mail, I shall be delighted to send it to you :)
This is really unexpected. You'd never really hear anything like this in mainstream today and that's part of what makes it so cool. Initially I thought the vocals sounded weird, but it grew on my very quickly. The vocals compliment the dark atmosphere very well. Production is also excellent. You've created a great vibe with this song. Great work!
great atmosphere created here Bleep. Interesting sounds and great to hear the organ. Never heard of Nyctalope until now. Apparently he has great night vision. I noticed some little timing issue with the vocs around 4:00 minutes in. Neat work. transported me. Regards - Dan
This is unexpected, and also a very welcome thing to hear. I was eager to visit your tracklist and hear what has been going on, and I was not disappointed!
Despite the somewhat modern vibes of the vocal parts, I can't help but make connections with The Cure while listening to this song. It is stylish, deep, dark, and complex in that sort of way. It is no surprise that we have become fans of each other's work, being both long time cure fans. When I returned to see the cure live last year, after a twenty year break, I could easily look around and know that those are my people. I could tell that we all valued the connection, and could also look into their eyes and know that they wanted to be left alone to enjoy the experience. I couldn't believe how many of us there were in this area, and sometimes I wonder where they all are. But enough about that!
The composition of all instrumental parts are very effective in conveying the feeling that you wanted to be heard in the vocal parts, at least to my ears/brain. It gives the impression of something that is so unpleasant that you don't want to admit to yourself that it feels good.
I don't know what else to say, except that I love the song! Thank you for sharing it!
Hey Spiv! Happy to read you!
you're right about our common fascination for this cult band, the cure. I realise that their work influence me a lot, especially the period around their brilliant trilogy "faith - pornography - seventeen seconds".
Last time i saw Cure in concert, it was at Bercy (france / paris) in 1996 and at the bataclan (paris - same year).
I thank Jozzua for this amazing flow. When i heard it, i said myself: here is the masterpiece of this track lol.
it's interesting to read what kind a strange feeling this track bring to you.May be because, usually, when we whistle it's because we are happy and in this track the sad atmosphere constrats with this aspect?
Thanks a lot Spiv for this personal feedback which is, you know it, very appreciate :)
This is very different to anything I heard on here.
I could easily imagine Tom Waits talking over this.
Theres a weightiness to it that doesn't drag it down.
I think the whistle acts as a float to keep it that way.
Heavy but travelling well but to where who knows?
This is one of those moments where ... I wish I'd done this.
It has a definite other worldly quality.
Have to listen again.
hello jack!
thanks for your feedback! sure, it's not a common track, may be because this genre is uncommon too for me lol
i'm glad to read you appreciate the feeling in this one!
enjoy and have fun!
thank you jack for taking time!
Dark overall tone, lyrics, the organ you chose, tempo.... Lots to listen to, cool effects, subtle sometimes. Dig the delays on the male vox. Listened a few times, it gave me the opportunity to pay attention to different sounds each time. The vocal samples are good, minette has a wonderful voice! Sparse in its arrangement but you did well with the production, in my opinion. Interesting sounds used sparingly set the atmosphere but it's fighting my coffee rush. ;)
Jim read the comments on my track from the other day and he knew who Chris Spedding was. Oh well....live and learn. btw, Jim joined the site recently so hopefully he uploads some music soon.
Pleasantly surprised by this one. Has a 90s trip hop / rock feel to it. I like the nuanced lead synths which combine with the whistling. Vocals are quirky to me, in a good way. Nice work.
thanks for your feedback, it's cool!
for the vocals, of course it seems to be quirky, owing to filters used on. It adds some originality to the atmosphere :)
thanks for taking time to listen and to share your feel :)
Hello Danke, what a surprise! I'm flattered by your visit!
i know "Faith no more", a rock band. It made a long time i didn't heard anything from this group! the relation you establish around a similar atmosphere is really gratifying! Glad to read you enjoyed this track, it's cool that Jozzua Lance allowed the looperman community in using his accapella loop! the track wouldn't be the same without vocals...
Thanks a lot for your feedback it's really appreciate!

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.
Anyway VOICE NEEDED

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

Description : 'Nowhere to go'. It could mean many things simultaneously. Is it a feeling of despair or is it devotion, is it both? Have a pleasant listen. I really do not know what's the genre that fits best to this song. I'll ask your opinion on this. The main sequencing was done in zenbeats by Roland.
Wonderful intro.
Great Beat.
Well done.
