Wow - masterful in every way - gorgeous stereo sound and every instrument is crystal clear (nothing lofi about this) and its a beautiful evocative track somewhat melancholic but equally lifting / triumphant. Not surprised it has so many plays, fav, downloads and comments. There is a world of amazing music and absorbing listening on LM and this a great example of that
Very well done work, like always :)
Nice production and overall sound. Dreamy and catchy stuff. Really good one to relax and fly a little around.
Also a good one for counting stars and drink some tea :)
I didn't listen to much music here on looperman the last times, so it was a little luck that i just visit the track list and saw this one. And like always, you didn't disappointed me. I hope that all is good on your side Leon.
Hey Joe my friend, how ya doin'?...Always a pleasure to hear from you ! Appreciat your observation with what my composition could go with...thanks alot mate, I really appreciate your positive feedback !
Such a sweet track with a cinematic feel to it and also because im Scottish a kind of celtic vibe im getting. I'm sure echo and delay is a black art for me at least but without that its like a good dinner without herbs or condiments. You have done a very good job of this which i enjoyed immensely. Robbie.
Thank you so much Robbie for your generous feedback and I'm glad your ears have detected a bit of celtic touch which is otherwise frequently present in my works.:)
This is a stunning piece of work my friend. There's so much texture. The guitars, piano, violins, the water and the low toms all fit together to make the perfect mood. Pure serenity.
Ok. So dont take anything as a negative as I am a very critical listener. Plus, I feel as if the goal is to uplift folks. Comments are just people’s personal opinions and preferences.
!. Overall, its solid IMO. The only reason that its not as boring going from the D#minor to the B major over and over is due to the different elements or instruments that are used in a timely manner.
2. I thought the intro was great; especially liked the shakers and snaps(?). The pad choice at the beginning is nice and open.
3. Then you add the guitar loop and congas. This obviously increases the listeners emotion with the progression. Makes sense.
4. Next, the violin comes in and this is where I personally started to try and dial some sounds in. The drums come in and are mixed well, but the violin starts to compete with the guitar because of the wetness of the reverb. To me, the verb of the lower register on the violin is in the same frequency range of the lower voicings of the guitar.
5. Speaking of the violin, around the 1:27 mark it goes up in its higher register and crescendos. The issue I had here is a mixing one: when you sit on that note, it makes the reverb almost have a feedback loop in it which makes that particular voicing harsh.
6. Love the Rainstick!
7. Next, the delayed electric guitar (I believe thats what it is), comes in (3:15 mark) and does its thing. However, its very mid rangy, which also clashes with the frequency of the acoustic loop (lower register).
8. Piano does the same thing as the electric guitar. But when it goes up to the higher octaves it pops easier. You place a couple grace notes in there which IMO weren't needed because its all step wise movement.
I know this seems like a lot, but as I said in the opening statement, I'm a critical listener.
Now this song was a enjoyment to listen to. Very natural and well balanced feel & ring to it. Which i always like & value in a good track. Such as this one. So yeah a job very well done once more. I also loved all the elements you used in this track. Probably going to fav this one along the way as well. At least it is well earned in my point of view. So yeah good job & keep up the good works. * bro fist *
I am reminded again of why I am a big fan of your music Leon...like this one it is often touching...something that speaks to the inner person and carries you along on a wonderful journey....a masterful piece of musical art my friend (and that is usual for you).....obviously I will be downloading this one....Ed

Such a clean crisp mix, fantastic, beautiful and peaceful! Guitars have a nice reverb on them, makes them sound big and spacious. Violins are layered beautifully too! Delay on piano works nicely as well.
I must ask Leon, how bout sending me some of your talent? ha! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Hey Wayne my friend...always a pleasure ! So glad you enjoyed this one and your generous feedback is much appreciated as always ! Well, my so called 'talent' is still in developement phase and if in the future by any
coincidence happens there will be some surplus of it, I'll
send it over...I promise...haha...
Beautiful song my friend. I love the haunting shimmer you gave the mix. This is the kind of music I listen too to relax. Piano at the end was a nice surprise.
Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.
Anyway VOICE NEEDED

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
Description : This is a pretty chill track with a certain vibe. I really enjoyed making it.
Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think, any feedback is appreciated.
