Description : another time I try my hands on a genre I'm not very familiar with, and I'm not even sure if this is really Techno ... so correct me if I'm wrong .... anyway .... I used drumloops from Sony, Loopcache and a looperman fellow called Yisraelee (thank you!!!), and though the track sounds strictly electronic everything else you hear are guitarloops (believe it or not) run through gates and filters ...... it's a very driving track with a lot of energy ..... so, enjoy the ride!!!! peace, rei .... UPDATE!!! I added a gated bassline created with Mr. Robot's faboulus FETT BASS vst (check it out in the vst section here on looperman ...) ... now it's a real energy ride ... enjoy!!! peace, rei

Because of my own tendency to bend genres, I've been spending far too much time researching this subject lately. The conclusion (one anyway) I've come to is more and more sub-genres arrive all the time to try to categorize the exceptions.
This is Techno that's bending or breaking rules of the genre. It's through these songs that challenge the assumptions that new and exciting stuff is made (or discovered). Best to break the rules to make good music than follow them and sound like everyone else.
ooh ... thx a lot for that great review!!!
places like this can inspire someone's imagination in a way that wouldn't be possible just by listening ...
and imagination has no boundaries, except those you raise yourself ...
thank you!!!
hi Travis!!! still around here ... nice to see you again!!
well, I guess you missed nothing, now with the new bassline it is a good track, it was only medium before ... lol
this track is very hard to describe. as soon as i think that is is one genre it changes to another. i'm calling it industrial w/ a jan hammer twist. you must have been a miami vice fan....
I wouldn't know where to start making something like this. A really excellent mix with lots of sounds happening in the right places...and its downloaded and fav'd and is playing on all my audio devices !!
Cool song here. Lots of 'gateing and effects' going on. Wouldn't know it was a guitar playing at all.
Great work in putting it all together to make it work seemlessly....which is often the hard part when messing with loops as I do.
Well, I like it and don't know the genre it would fit into except electronic I guess.
tight. This sounds so damn good on my headphones. Full sound and clear as bell. Very cool beat and percussion stuff with the trickle synth sounding guitar stuff, very very cool. Did I just hear a little cowbell break? all kinds of sounds running all through, inventive and jammin... definitely like the techo-esque vibe. All these things mixed all together tight. great track Rei.. downloaded for study...hehe.
soooo freakin cool rei, love the fx and the dimminishing melody, what a great sound. did you play the parts? love the industrial sounding claps..metallic almost.
thx!!!
everything except the drumloops is from me, basically the licks are pretty simple, the gates make them sound so different ... the claps are from a sony 8pack, this loop fitted perfectly ... oh, I uploaded some of that guitar loops recently ... they're called "yellow" ...
peace, rei
This is truely an interesting Night for listening to Genre Spins on tracks. Between this and BilBozo's latest track, wow.. I thought I was being crafty with "White Trash Monday" as a genre spinner to close down the year with. Wow, this Track Really Grooves.
yea...rock it, dont stop it,
yea, yea, yea yea...
dont stop it, just rock it
all around da room the speakers
are knocken.
to the dance floor all the ladie's
they flocken...
i love it
who says guitars cant sound like what ever you want... i dont think anybody says that mwhahaah...
of course i'd love it more if their was some thick low end.... but its a rocckin track the way it is
If you hadn't told me that it's all done on the guitar I would have guessed there's predominantly synth at work....unreal....Another feather in your bow..considering the techno nature of the genre where nailing the beat is super critical this is amazing!..you've done it with a professional ear and it sounds like the work of a seasoned Techno aficionado at work...I'm amazed at how easily you can switch genres and capture the technical requirements needed to pull it off...you are one versatile dude.....awesome! cheers Dave :)

Mysterious intro continued by a hypnotic yet very energetic trip through different techno productions. I have at least 2 more techno parts to add and a few more scary booby traps. All together a 3/4 more mins to stack behind it. After that i'll run through the piece again, finalize mixing, master it and upload incl. download. Any feedback is welcome! MMMMMMMH FRESH MEAT!
Description : techno track, haven't made one of my own in a while. Now remastered with more noises. Created in FL Studio, but rendered in audacity (Fl is very bad at making mp3s). Let me know what ya think

Modeled this song after Evolution by Hy2rogen
A rework of an old song "After The Fact" which I believe is still on my old profile on here. Enjoy or don't
Thanks for joining me on this wild ass ride. Fuckin crazy it's been 13 years of music. Insane. Thank you to everyone who's ever listened to a song I've uploaded whether on here as zacvoos or ApolloForce, or on my soundclouds as ZachUndefined, RunnerTwoThree, or ApolloForce. Thank you all.

I do not charge any amount for the stems. You will be able to post on your platforms, giving credit, of course. I can release it commercially if its version looks good, in this case we divide it by 50% for each one.
maybe if I have a little more time left I'll do something like this again just for practice ... ;-)

I wasn't even sure if I should upload it anywhere ... lol
