Description : (Edit) Be sure to check out the original!.
This is currently incomplete. I started this a while back and I got to thinking that I'd like others to rap (or sing) on it. Kinda like an unofficial looperman vocal squad collab or somethin. The version you hear now is 3:00, but I only rap for a minute and a half of that (from like 0:30 to 2:00, approx). The whole mix I did is 4:38.
So I'm thinkin there's room for 2 others (1 rapper & 1 singer or 2 other rappers). Hit me with a message if you'd like to do somethin on it and I'll email you the whole mix.
As for the song, I just went crazy for the beat and so I just hadta do something with it. The rmx is pretty basic and involved tempo tweeking, four channels with multiple channel isolated fades throughout on all, effects, and mastering effects. The vox were kept basic because I wanted to kinda give it a timeless vibe (not of either skool, really). The effects I added to them is a direct reflection of DJ Screw's style of mixin tracks (though mine is way more basic and doesn't really involve the beats). I was also wanting to evolve the P'Funk-esque feel I had tried on my remix of Sparque's Let's Go Dancin on the vocals I added to it later. Going high and going low (with some additional effects thrown on to both). Off for now. Lates mates!

This is not your typical rap track. I like the backing track and the effected vocals are very unique. I see you say it isn't complete yet. Are you planning on doing anything with it soon?
Yeah, this was somethin I was playin with ages ago. I was kinda wantin others to play with it, but that hasn't really happened so I might go back n tweak/extend the vox I added (just so it can be more finished, ya know?). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
i love the beat but the echo is really over shadowing that cold ass beat, could i have that beat without the echo
its platinum in the hood ????????????????
Definitely different...nothing im used to lol...sounds like when cartoon network back in the day when they used to show toonami..pretty cool..i like the intro and the drum pattern.
Hells yeah, I remember when CN useta do that. It's a shame that I don't have that channel anymore (basic cable here only has 20+ chans and CN is on 59). All the music is thanks to Mouko (check out the original if ya haven't already), I just did the vox and effects on the vox (along with some slight mixing of the original). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Haha, thanks man. I've always been into Funk. To me, that's when music was the best. All about experimentation, fun, and love, ya know? Glad I could represent that well and that ya dug it. Later on!
Thank Mouko for the great groove of this track. It isn't often when a track reaches out and grabs ya, but that's what happened here. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Prech that mate. As for the FX, man, I kinda need 'em because my vox would sound like rubbish otherwise.
As for where I went, not there just yet, and I'm beginnin to think that I aint ever gonna get there (not one person has stepped up to say that they'd like to flow on this w/me).
As for the email, I think I mentioned somethin about it to ya somewhere on here. Later on!
Loving the vox with the neutered chipmunk and the Issac Hayes sounds stacked on top of each other. I never thought you would do rap, but then again your the Donny Vyros, what the hell are you going to do next?
Hahaha,
Thanks for the chuckle, brother. Yeah, I rap, nothing serious, but it was somethin I wanted to try my hand at too.
As for what I'd do next, I dunno- Country maybe? Try to compose something truly Classical? Ooh wait, I know, make some kinda boy/girl band Pop-type song, yeah! Haha. Really? Hmm, R&B maybe. That'd be the next logical step I'm thinkin. Later on mate!
Cool effects and sounds, builds plenty of imagery as I listen. like the dark vox rap and beats. Sounds great-it would be way cool to hear former 22catch laying something on this as well, but plays fine as is. Kudos man!
Thanks Kook, I too am keener of the bassier vox than I am the high one. Catch's good, but I dunno if he'd wanna mess with this, speaking style-wise. Glad ya enjoyed. L&R!
Nice take on it mate... love the FX and deep/high pitched vocals...definitely would be a good idea to get a couple of other rappers on there..nice experiment D!
Thanks brah. I'm thinkin that if there are other rappers on this I'll do something different for each of 'em. Adding different effects to each. Later on matey!
I hear ya (and agree). And I was lucky enough to be able to score this before the site added the 'enable download' choice ages ago. Can't recall when I started mixing this, but I remember that once the vox were laid I wanted others to rap on it too. As for Screw, I wasn't trying to directly immitate him, but was just thinkin of his style and tried to take it in a similar Funky direction. As for rap, it's like music production and just takes practice (and pointers). It's kinda hard, but given enough time you'd be surprized at what you can do. As for the comparison, I'd have to agree in the remix's unfinished state. Though all I ever try to do with my basic remixes is to make it just as cool as the original (however modified and stretched out). Glad ya dug it. L&R!
Very cool start to this. Has a resident evil soundtrack type of sound to it. Wild vocal FX. I don't really care for rap and almost didn't listen to this. I'm glad I did. Very neat. But also very amusing.
Thanks, vocally I try to be a jester (like you do sometimes too). And even when I'm being semi-serious I try to joke about something (like how I didn't know what held the Snake on the flag- kinda serving as the Yuppie's guide to their culture). As for Rap, I feel you. There's some I like, some I don't, but yer always in good hands with me because I'm an insane outsider there. L&R!
Thanks Gizza,
The downside to the this one is that back then I didn't know that I could save the different effects pre-sets I had used so when I tried to edit a part near the butt-end of the vocals it gave me such a hard time trying to emulate the FX used on the others that I just gave up and reverted back to what I had recorded before.
Songwise, I didn't really want to change it too much. Just slow it down and add effects that would make is sound spaced-out (like being played outside in an alley as the dirty deeds are done and the car screeches away).
Lyrically, they kind of don't fit, but I wanted to make it a story about friendship and how when the sh*t hits the fan you've always got that to fall back and count on (with true friends, atleast). So it's kinda like a mix between the films Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels with Menace 2 Society. Glad ya dug it, L&R!

Description : Hello everyone! EYEDYE back again with a rap track! I think I outdid myself on this one. I tried a more modern style of vocals, stacking them up and adding my own style and I love it. A little short for my taste, but I've just got so many projects. Solo stuff, My metal Band, and providing vocals for other loopers. (I didnt forget about you Danke!!!) So, for now, take it as is and maybe I'll return to it one day. Let me know what you think!
Since yall showed so much love, i uploaded a cleaner version.

Description : The rapper is BadgaNFK. One of the drum loops is cg5music. The rap is about Genghis Khan when he was a young man known only as Temüjin, living on the steps of Mongolia. These were rugged tribal peoples living as part of nature in what could be a very hostile environment. I tried to capture that in this, hence all the nature sounds. The ending is Mongolian people singing.
Description : in recognition of the King's coronation just reminding him there is another King in the UK :)))
cant publish lyrics because there's more than 3000 characters. :((
its a banger, all bars. 6 mins+ seatbelts needed.
Description : To make up for my absence, I decided to upload something you've never seen from me before. For the first time on this site, I did not make the instrumental of this track. The instrumental is a generic rap instrumental I found on youtube. I wanted to focus my energy and time solely on the rap and its lyrics. Hopefully, in doing so, the track is better off for it. Let me know what you think.
Description : Hey just produced this 100% ORIGINAL hip hop/rap beat. Haven't given it a title or cover pic (you can choose both). Would love it if any rappers spit fire over it. Free to use how ever you like, just add (Prod. Equinox) or something to that extent in the title. If you do use it, definitely send me a link. Would love to hear some of the talent within the rap community.
Description : I heard a synth loop by Keishh (see link below) and liked it. I though I would add some piano, trap beat, and other instruments to it. What do you think?
Description : I love this German Rap Style from Mr Tadeus. . They shared the Accapella with us here on Looperman and I immediately went to "work". At the end I made a mixture of Rap, Hip Hop and Lofi. The lyrics are about someone who is always edgy, irritable and short tempered. He found out that at the end is must have been the stuff in the Internet that winds him up all the time. You may listen to the original song on Spotify
Description : When it comes to Hiphop, i'm all round. i can produce underground hiphop beat, real rap, trap, cypher. rnb... anything about hiphop music... this beat is made from an old soul music... THE DRAMATICS - BE MY GIRL... just put on your headphones or turn up your volume and bump to this... what i love about this beat is the ending.. enjoy people!!!!
Another great track
All The Best

lol...
A bit much on the vocals, but I still like it! Not DJ screw just yet... that guy is unimaginably listenable and awesome... Agreed tho..
I would blast somebody witha raw banana to this track, the whole time screaming DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
I like your rendition, but the original is still in my mind...
I suppose... I would do vocals, but... I can't rap very well.. I would just cuss a lot and rip off X-Raided...
loved this listen, something new and exciting around every corner.
great use of all fx buddy!!!
