Saturday evening, one of the last warm days in September, a glass of wine, sitting in my chilling chair and watch how dusk fall.
Thats what I see while hearing your track. Great job!
Dig that sax man. Nice jazzy, chill out kinda beat. I feel like drinking a slow gin fizz & staring over the bay with this in the background. So great job.
Ok, first, I have to to say the sax phrasing and notes selections are top notch. The mix is incredible, it's sounds well balanced and crisp coming out of my monitors. Stellar production my brother, mad respect and admiration. Keep bringing it.
Thanks for listening CinCoCent... Great observation of the Drum works. The drums are subtle but as you say "makes it all fit". The hi-hats are what I think gives it life.. especially toward the end and at the intro. I appreciate the comments and fav.
Thanks, V. I like the fumble comment :) Thanks for listening and glad it was a pleasant surprise for you. I am glad you mentioned the long fade out. I wanted the fadeout to keep the ear focus till the end. I am glad it carried its weight till the end.
WOW! what a pleasant surprise, talk about high quality and such classy vibes/sound here. This is something LM doesn't have much of and i am glad i took a listen in, wowzers! grown up music for sure lol...EXQUISITE! in it's entirety. Truly beautifully crafted. Bravo!
Thank you very much for listening. I am glad you enjoyed this piece and really appreciate your awesome comments. Grown-up music for sure!!! :) Thanks for the fav too.
very cool again Ron...that sax is cool again and I know that it's more jazz than rock but there was a band, called Morphine...they used sax as a rhythm instrument with huge riffs...
I'm not saying this is an example to follow but maybe sometimes ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_TK9OXTyPY
I checked out the video and it is something I will try. I like the feel of the sax as a rhythm instrument. I appreciate your comments and fav my friend.
AFTER A SECOND LISTEN AND READING SOME COMMENTS..I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH DJ SLT UK......THE MUSIC IS GREAT ..GIVE IT A CHANCE TO BREATH....WHICH IN TURN WILL MAKE YOUR SAX HAVE BIGGER IMPACT.....I THINK THATS WHAT HE WAS SAYIN...HAHA...LOVELY WORK
Great Intro. Mix is also nice and clear. Small Idea. I would occasionally use an Asymmetrical pong on the sax at certain points (sparingly at the end of a Bar) to broaden the mix. The underlying sounds are lush and thoughtful. Nice Work.!
Cru
Excellent ambient song with Nu jazz elements, performed with great professionalism. All elements are in perfect balance and the mix sounds clean and present when listening.
Best wishes
Absolutely nothing wrong with this, great vibe, great execution musically and with the mix. Everything sounds great, clear and purposeful. Put me in a relaxed, chilled out mood, thanks!
Thank you much Wayne. I appreciate your comments my friend and the fav too. I really had fun creating this track. The world can use some chill and relax. 2020 has been rough for so many.
Thanks, Heath for your comments and the fav too. I really appreciate your acknowledgment of the 1:52 part of the track when I brought the sax back in. I really wanted it to stand out and so I paused the track for a sec and let the sax find its way to the groove. I am glad it turned out nice.
Those rhodes pianos are so lush and full of warmth. They contrast so well against the punchy snare and the smooth sax. It all just flows so effortlessly. Glad to see the looperman community booming with so much talent nowadays.
Thanks, ProdByFetti, I appreciate your comments. I agree the Rhodes piano has that warmth that is unmatched. Love playing the keyboards especially the electric keys. I am glad you mentioned the punch snare... I worked on that a bit. Thanks again, my friend.

Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

I didn't hear it before the edits on the sax-breaks, but I can tell that you made the right choice by following DJ's advice.
I really like the chimed intro, and how it continues on through the piece. It sets a good foundation.
The beat is superb as well. It's really quite impeccable in how it seems to fumble, but never drops the ball.
The "Hey" that comes in, and repeats until the end is a nice touch as well. The long slow fade out works here.
Overall, this truly is, even in it's jazziness, a chilled out track!
Awesome, work. Keep it up!
Take care.
