man, the creativity that went into this is top-notch it’s hella grooves all the way. the mix i think could be revisited. the gtr and bass have a pretty good sound, but the other instrumentation doesn’t match their presence. i only offer the criticism cause i think it’s a really good track. respect.

Thank you for the comment and suggestion. I revisited the track and fixed the other instruments presence, also I took some of the mud out of the bass. I am updating the track here with the changes I made. Thank you for that very good ear and the kind comment. You might also like these tracks

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master.
