Hello,
It is a great work you have done here. So nice rhythmic song, with no imperfections in its production. You get all the credits and you deserve it
Best wishes, Anthony
Thanks Anthony, I was pretty happy with the production on this one at least. A few random elements and fx artefacts but I like those sometimes....Cheers Zoot.
I liked it before and I still do - the mix is very vice and the guitar sound esp. very cool - of course Im wondering if we ( you, me, the LM taste bubble) would mix it differently today but to be sure Ive tried remixing some of my own track and usually Im happier with the first one
Been a while, thought you might have met a sweet Balinese girl and decided to stay lol. I tweaked the mix a little mainly bringing the wah guitar up a bit and a bit brighter. Might send you a wee something if I can get around to working on it done more. Cheers man.
Hey Zootman, love your mix. its modern upfront but with our ancestors like mad scientist, lee perry in my mind. i love your vocals theres is something you bring from our western world into this dub. lyrics are awesome. and when you do on another dub track would be gnarly if we can collab. Dub is dying, i was in a local vanilla job, looking for my drug dub, but that women told me they squashed the section, nobody is listing. keep that dub burning zootman. love from a banana
Hi Bananarama, how are you doing? I know you're a dub man, so glad you got to hear this track. I would like to do another dub thing, I did start something recently but never got around to finishing it. Maybe I should....be cool to get your vox on something mate. Here's something you might like, not regular dub but.......kinda.
Thank you very much. I was mostly satisfied with how it turned out, feel the vocal could be better, one day.... Have a good day over there on the continent...
zootman, you handled the business with this wall to wall sound. Great mixing as well. Now for the guitar, that did it totally for me. I thoroughly enjoyed your work here.

Kia ora, thanks, nice to get some feedback again on this. Yeah I was pretty happy with the wah guitar, felt a bit self indulgent having such a long coda but couldn't bring myself to edit it down. thanks again.
Love a bit of reggae dub, Skrillex make it bun dem, Bosen bag o wire, well done Chris great vibe and the first I've heard here that's got something about it favd
Hey Chris - I liked this a lot the first time and I like it still - not that I can remember the difference - have to check if I downloaded it the first time (ha). Great stuff - when is the tour??
woo hoo - nice lots of interest and shifts in the tone and instruments coming in and out. I was thinking it would be better faster in the first part of the tune - you know a bit more ska like for the energy but I think it settled into a very nice groove
Yeah, nice use of brass. I Like the wet surfer reverb on the rim click. Telephone was perfect randomly in the guitar solo, also liked the dark scale use around the same time.
Nice work, fun to listen to. Well mixed. Well done.
This is such a groovy track! nice find with those trumpet loops, all of the pieces feel really intelligently blended, by the way I love how many different musical styles I've seen you experiment with on here, very impressive! keep up the chill work!

Hey thanks so much. Yeah i lucked into those brass loops alright. That's me, a jack of all trades and master of none, nah I guess my tracks on here reflect the variety of what I enjoy listening to. Shouldn't be any boundaries eh?!
Was diggin' this from the first note! The lyrics are simple but say so much. The bass was great. The guitar was tasty as hell. Man you put me in the summer mood and just so happens we are getting summer weather this week.
Cool man, I like that you liked it! Starting the slide into winter here so u enjoy that sunshine. I'm going to ease the transition by drinking more dark beer instead of pale ales !
Much appreciated thanks. Lyrics have been around for a while actually as had the song but only as an accoustic number and not reggae, so fun to play around with it. Cheers.
damn, mate i love the track and must say that wah gtr is just exemplory. solid bass and keys as well, and the looping is really organic. dub fx spot-on. and the pissed-off riddle is the icing on a lake. far out!
thanks man, actually my other half just pointed out (and I kind of had it in mind already) that the vocal doesn't really fit the music - sounds a bit too pissed off! I might have a crack at redoing the vox at some stage to see how it works a bit softer.
Production is top-notch mate. Awesome dub verb as well on that rim. I am a huge Sly and Robbie fan and count them among my musical influences. The sound in this one is awesome. good work.
Cru
coming from you that's high praise re. production, thanks! yeah sly and robbie. u know one of my favorite albums and one i consider a classic is Grace Jones Nightclubbing and guess who the rhythm section was. team them up with Grace's weird aesthetic and you got gold.
come on man, you're a bit of a jazz fan aren't you? try Ernest Ranglin alblum 'below the bassline' first two tracks are pretty sweet - congo and surfin'. thanks for the comment - been working on improving my mixes and production so much appreciated.
ahhh ... brilliant ... get me some kinda good green stuff ... kids fall asleep, wife too, sitting out on the terrace, watching the night, listening to this song ... young again ... :-) thanks for this experience ...
Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.
Description : Vocal stem available in Acapellas section :)

Description : This track contains only free loops from several Looperman artists. I think one of my best works lately... but wonder if it's ok with headphones too - there a lot of very rough cuts. Enjoy!
Applied loops (fully or partially):
Description : Richard Shekari and I worked on this project earlier this year. I play bass, guitar, banjo, dobro and also sing on this. Richard added a cool harmonica sound and has an amazing voice. I have learned a lot from him, Richard produced this track.
Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!

Description : This ones for Cyberflares who just made the coolest utube vid, search six foot six cyberflares and you'll find it. Music cooked up entirely from free Loopmaster demo loops and a Scratch interview. Arrangement and added fx by me. Hopefully I don't upset the upsetter.
Description : This is the 4th cover of Big Audio Dynamite i done in collaboration with a friend who live in england. We both fan of the band so we decided to do a challenge and produce a serie of cover. we done 4 in one month. each track got it proper video check my youtube channel indiegroundvid
Description : I uploaded the vocals in 2012, Soap BRILLIANTLY produced this track around them. I was listening and thought I'd share as well. Don't forget to stop at his place and leave some Looper love! Enjoy!
Description : NEW - 2014 - I used a few samples from sterixx called riddim.
And one from seanmccuaig called vocal beat.
I used some lyrics from an older song by myself. It was more a dark wave song befor but i realy enjoyed it to sing and produce it in reggae style.
Hope you enjoy this version also.
