Nah the imperfect arrangement of the vocals give it a Personal almost lounge-like quality to it. Dont sell yourself short my friend.

Thanks, was kind of inspired by living a wee while on the Chatham Islands. An atmospheric place on many levels. Funnily enough I was listening to this just now and thinking the vocals don't sound that great.

Love the wah guitar. adds a nice atmosphere. smooth dark and slinky would be how I would describe this one. The piano is sublime. As if Bryan ferry merged with the Stone Roses and the Stereo MCs. good tune mate. Very atomspheric. Perfect fill at 2:56. The instrumental mixing is sublime. gets a fav ;-) The reverse guitar work reminds me of Manzanilla's work on Manifesto. great job I really enjoyed that listen.

Ahh the lyrics of soft ice being burnt to dust by the ultraviolet rays.. Ghostly dead radiates the midnight sky and welcomes the hungry with a plate of evidence... Keep writing brother this shit is rambo-tacious! Also I love the blues that appear in the track on semi-bars it really picks everything up. The drums were splendid too as they really create a reality of its own. Way to go mate!

Very nice complementary work: upbeat while addressing such a sad history. Loving the reference to the old burial tradition. This one's a keeper.

Michael Jackson's bassist ate a mushroom. Reminds me of Hawkwind or Throbbing Gristle. Nice ambient transition and turnaround, with the reverse guitar.

This one gets a fav.

really nice warm vibe you got their. it´s a hypnotic beat setup with different instruments. Really impressed by the slide guitar, this one got me deep in my brain. I feel like i´m melting down. The Voice is perfect for this LSD-DESERT Trip with Zootman. I downloaded this and really enjoyed on my Pa-System with big woof- woof. I really dig your work and the lyrics are very well written and i like your more minimalistic approach of using words. Nice effects on Vocals. The duality in distance is a welceome for ears and supports your Voice. There is some kind of 80´s Rock singing..but i cant decide right now. Have to take more hits and enjoy the Song. love from germany

This is really nice, it actually has such a hypnotic vibe which is just delectable to listen to. BTW, if no ones ever told you, your voice sounds similar to the late lead singer of INXS, your vocal tone has similarities. TOP! WORK! Like this a lot! Bravo!! Chris.

Thank you, I'm glad you listened and enjoyed. This started with the thought of making something in which the bass line never repeated, I got to about 40 seconds on the first take so didn't do too bad lol. No, I can assure you noones ever told me that about my voice but I liked his so that's a very nice compliment. Have a great day.

Hi Wayne, thanks a lot! That smiling faces song is a real gem. There's a great sound to a lot of those 70s recordings that I don't think we can emulate any more. And the stone roses of course, love their extended jams and sound.

This was special. I´ve heard the last one from Wayne, a unusual one from him and I´m astonished about you both so far. Ok that you are able to do something like this is not unusual but so much creative. The sound, great. The voice, really great. The instruments, great. I love it. Well done my friend. It´s a very contemporary musical piece of art! Well done. It took me away from the first second and I felt like been shaking around until I feel dizzy. Great.

Hi there, thanks so much M. I was happy with this in the end after not being sure it wasn't too boring. But for me it was evocative of the island and the time I spent there. Any island had it's own mystique I think.
