Description : Decided that I wanted to return to the True Minimal area and explore that ambient space a little more. This time pulling more influence from the rock/electronic side of my influences.

Bonus points if you can tell me what band/album I'm quoting without looking it up.

Also, just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you. The LM community has been so kind and supportive. You all rock!

The emotion evoked feels like your trapped in a space ship and ground control has been disconnected. You've become isolated. I get Pink Floyd / 2001 A Space Odyssey imagery in my mind.

Wow...still listening as I write. Obviously much thought & talent went into the composition & instrument arrangement...very patient build and your vocal performance is totally on..the big space fits the atmosphere and instrument space..the instruments carry the rhythm nicely without percussion etc. Love the last section switch to the key prog and rich pad layers...superb piece of music Killick...fav....keep on...Ed

So much drama and power in this track, it's amazing! You really know how to fit music to your vocals, they really add up! The spacey ambientlike sounds in between keep it interesting and even mysterious at some points. Maybe at some point a bit of drums might even enhance the track even more but I understand that without it is very rich already. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I thought about adding some drums but programming drums isn't something I'm very good at. But I'm working on it! Thanks so much bro.

Cam this is epic, you've captured the ambient space and then some, this ain't no track, this is a PERFORMANCE, stunning. The aura your voice carries is incredible, angelic baritone, church like, the instrumentation from the synth pads and that guitar it's giving in so many ways the keys are charming and build you up slow stabbs, I hadn't planned on listening to 9.39 mins, but I rolled one, poured a scotch and settled down. I would have paid to watch that performance bro, high five, faved

Can, so this listen for me personally was simply “MAGNIFICENT”! From the vocal treatment to the guitar and then that majestic piano and synth work. And it’s genius how the lower synth notes maintained the tempo and kept everything moving nicely. Top production Cam.

First things first. I can tell just by looking at the waveform you added more volume to you mix, that's a good thing!

Great intro, your vocals are strong and the dreaminess of the pad behind it is nice. The guitar adds the opposite of the pad, some gritty sound to oppose the pad. The piano is incredible. Epic song Cam, quite a pleasure to listen to!

I'll take a guess on who wrote the lyrics. Was it Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam?

Take care!

Hey Wayne, thanks so much. Generally I do try to make my mixes fairly quiet and then pull the master up about 6-8 db. Oddly, I've started looking for the same thing in waveforms that you noticed.

Also, great guess but no! Now that I think about it, kinda does sound like one of Vedder's lyrics doesn't it?

I think this is the first 9+min track I've listened to on LM.

Your Vocals are perfect (of course). The panning Synth at the beginning was a nice touch, it drew me into the track and wouldn't let me go. I really like your choice of Electric Grand as well as the other Keyboards and Pads.

The entire production is exquisite.

Great track. Faved..

PEACE...

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
