Anyone who knows me knows that I don't stick to genres and that I have two open ears for musical experiments. Music has to convince me. This title convinced me. Therefore the fav. And everyone who knows me also knows that I'm honest and also say if I don't like something. That's why my fav is honest. I'm generally thrifty with sharing*Smile. But tell me, how did you come up with the title? Have a nice weekend Manuela
perhaps "very unexpected Fave"
left to much room for misunderstanding
especially considering "We" do not have a
track record to give my comment the intended
context. Questioning the integrity of your Fave
was not the intended purpose of my thanks for your
very appreciated Fave.
My original idea for this track was to pit two closely
related(in respect to scales and note phrasing)Guitar styles
("Wes Montgomery"vs."Eric Gale" and to a much lesser degree me)
The Wes Montgomery being the sweet and Eric Gale and me being the
sour. But as I added Vocals and got a little too involved with
Guitar toys . It still turned out Sweet & Sour but not nearly the way I planned it originally.
I hope I haven't been too wordy with the answer to your question.
If you had woken me up at 6:30 am, I would have listened to this song *smile. It is a sound image that you have created. It's a bit reminiscent of the good old free jazz sessions. Although I do think I can detect some rock and even soul elements here. I really enjoyed this entertaining 3-minute trip through the world of musical improvisation! Greetings Manuela
This track started out Tuesday morning as a "Jazz" idea.
It would have finished that way if I hadn't starterd playing around with some of my effect toys. The effects lead to the Vocals and by Tuesday nite when I posted, It turned out full blown "Weird" lol.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and give this track a listen, kind words and a very unexpected Fave.
I was telling Ian that I am doing more experimenting
with getting some new (new to me lol) sounds. There are
so many toys that I'm sure I have just scratched the surface
with. I think I'm starting to get the logic of being able to make certain sounds sound a certain way (if that makes sense) You know, trying to translate the sounds in my head to sounds on a track.
I am glad you stopped by and listened, downloaded and faved this track and lived to tell about it lol.
Your description made me laugh.
You must have been hungry lol.
This track is indeed something different from what we are used to from you, but in a very positive way.
The music is great and also vocals are great and fit in perfectly.
Very well done Jynxz!!
The Female Vocal laugh@35sec. is the same vocal you've been
commenting on for about 2 or 3 yrs. I manage to fit it into every track I write. I really hadn't given Vocals much though until you commented on the Vocals way back then. Now sometimes the Vocals take over the track and I end up re-writing the music behind the Vocals, even when the track started out with them as just accents.
Thank you for stopping by and giving this track(hope it didn't wake you this time)a listen kind comments and especially the Fave.
it's a great guitar sample, I wasnt sure if it was a keyboard sounding guitar or a guitar sounding keyboard, but yeah great sound and youve built the right tone and mood around it - love it : )
I played Bass & Rhodes on this one.
I did some "automation on my Guitar track
to simulate a effect pedal board (still in
the experimental phase for me). I played the
Synth @2:13 to the end with an attempt at Guitar
phrasing.
It's always great to have you stop by give my track a listen, I appreciate your encouraging comments. Thanks for the Fave...
Hey Robbie, another great track from you, very balanced and powerful. Personally, I would spread the solo instruments a little more around the room... left and right, you know. keep going...
Cheers, Micky
This is one of those start/stop tracks I had in my DAW library. I happened to hear the Guitar tracks while browsing "Loopcloud" yesterday. A few hours later I was posting it on LM. You are spot on about the "Panning" ordinarily I would have "spread out all the individual parts to give them spaces of their own as well as making the track more dynamic. I'm kinda still in the learning curve since I don't have my "Prius RIP" to use as my final ears, for the last 10 yrs. I'm going to need to find me a new pair of ears I can trust. LOL...
Thanks for stopping by and giving this track a listen.
Actuallly I usually play most of the instruments on my tracks, On this track I played the Bass, Rhodes & Synth. Most of my tracks start out with me on Bass, Drums(programed) Rhodes. I also create most of the FX. I add all the Vocals, and the Synth last.
Thanks for stopping by and giving this track a listen, and for your encouraging comments.
Rob! Avant- guard exotic sophisticated whole vibe you whipped up! Jynxzetts on deck. Keytar soaring. Percussion in da cut. Brass on fire! Outro narration…….. WOW! Excellent! Faved!
I can't take much credit for the Drums on this one(samples)
but the next couple of tracks I want to post are jammed packed with original Drum work. I'm glad you liked this track tho and the Fave is always greatly appreciated.
I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. It's been a while since I've felt like producing.
Description : working on a more rock heavy metal crossover. I try to get it working. I got lots of insparation from here on LM, looking for any advice that would help me to get closer. I left the beat in the end open, so you can try it out. guit, synth or vox, etc....
Chords:
I B I D I E I F# I
Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.
Another try from my horror jazz collective.
Instruments Used:
-"LIRA" upright piano (MADE IN USSR 1973)
-"BLAST CULT" upright bass (MADE IN USA 2016)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
Description : One of those tracks you put your headphones on and your off too fantasy land for bit.Its all over the music spectrum on this track.*no foul language but does have lyrics that contain adult language
Description : Many of strangeness here ....
A link between two musical worlds quite different but united in this message of harmony.
"Silverpaw" (former Looperman) had in the depths of one of its hard drives, this arrangement that I made the past year: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/120846
He decided to bring this theme, with a text and this voice ....
Very surreal but I really enjoyed ....
Description : I am quite open to all kind of music out there. This time I had some Church organ pipes lying around. With the help of 2nick8 and IMHO one of his best songs out there I put him into a big room and let the organs speak. Yes, maybe weird, maybe different, maybe 2nick8 will throw some egg against me ... I did it. What do you all think of it? (I changed the Genre to "Weird" in the meantime but "Experimental" would do also.
Description : Here i am the rough grannie lol
In the period when i was not on LM i didd go on
to fill my older beats with my voice.
I wish i could delete the snares.
They are sometimes in the wrong place.
But when i go from fl20 on old laptop to fl21 on new laptop , i didd delete all my old tracks to make a fresh start with a empty laptop. Now i feel sorry.
Description : I started out making this track a Vocal track, then it turned into a Chillout track but, now I'd say DubJazz, PsychoFunk or Weird. You be the Judge.
Description : This track is only magmatic chaos hanging on a simple rhythmic skeleton. I had fun shaping and mixing the most disgusting electronic slurry.
Description : Hey guys! Well, this is the first time I upload a song with my voice. I have to confess that this is not a style I usually sing. And, as an extra point, this is my first song in english. My native language is spanish, my english is not perfect, so sorry for mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, etc). Well, about lyrics, I explain the story on description of the instrumental version. If you want to read the story or hear the instrumental track, go here [ https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146653 ]. This song was made on Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium and Adobe Audition 3.0. I hope you like it. Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...
Description : I haven't done anything in awhile. I got tired of screwing with this so just did some gain staging & panning & slapped it on here. It definitely sounds like something I would do.
Description : So i did a bit of sound design on an interview i watched (its not a film or anything with reserved rights so Looper Admin finna chill out, lol)
its of a lady who committed a crime of passion, tortured her BF for 3 days before killing him because he had "snitched" and put many people in Jail.she shows no remorse at all and is presentably a very highly intelligent individual..this is a project i did.
basically some cinematic ambiance to accompany the tone of the convo and at the end i just put some simple loops of strings, arps and a nice killer guitar...didnt work hard on the drums tho..i dont know what genre this is so i will put it under "weird" then sit in a corner and cry coz no one listens to weird stuff lol
peace Loopers
Description : Again not sure of genre but it is kinda weird. Very much an experiment and Im not sure if it works but someone will let me know no doubt. If you can cope at all probably better with headphones. Pad sound is guitar treated with reverbs, crazy drums constructed from Akai kits and free jazz SFZ kit, sax samples and minimal synth line from arturia minifreak

I just happened to stumble onto these Guitar samples.
I felt compelled to use them right away.
I'm glad you enjoyed the track.
Thank you for your listen and encouraging comments.
