Easy on the ears, chilled out piece. Like others have said, nice composition, nicely chosen instruments and effects. I like the guitar playing as well, you have skills I don't possess, he!

Take care

Wane I appreciate you stopping by. Don't know if you remember me, but here under a new name. The former MACK MAN. I remember you. You are no slouch my friend. It's a great feeling to get the same love being under the new name as it was under THE MACK MAN, especially from veteran Loopers. Back then we had a Click of members going on, (SLAP, Bear, Planet Bass, Abner Basarous, Filao Soul) and so on. Just saying I highly appreciate your time and comments. Will stop by soon. PEACE T576 OUT.

Nice!
Sounds a bit R & B ish to me as well!
Looking to add lyrics to it as well? I could see something maxwell-esque coming from this for sure.
Keep it up, Z

Thank you, Z, for the positive feed back. I agree with you on that comment. Maxwell would put some fire on this track. If I were to add vocals, I think his style of singing would without a Dout work. Thanks again for the stop by. PEACE. T576 OUT.

woo - gorgeous - the guitar is so good and seems to get even better as the track goes along but the whole track is silky smooth and there's a beautiful depth to the sound production - butter on warm toast indeed

Thank you, p. I had a ball writing this. Your ears are on point. What I mean is, after the sound depth was created the sound alone told me what to do. Sound design is verry important in music production. Thanks again for the stop by. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Stellar track! Guitars sounded great! It’s just that hi-hat and/or shaker that sounds out of place. Great musicianship
T576
T576 replied 14th May 2023 - 1 year ago
Thank you, O, for the listen and comment. It's the shaker. Sometimes in Smooth Jazz or any type of Jazz , something will sound a little off. It may be a high hat or piano etc. Unlike a House track, for instance, which is created from a strict musical blueprint where all elements are on point timing wise, and melodically, Jazz composition is more of a human feel concept and has odd timings that can be played in. You are verry observant. Thanks again. PEACE. T576 OUT.

DJ, thank you for the stop by. I love SMOOTH JAZZ. I try to write in such a way that the listener has to give it a full listen to know the whole story I was trying to tell. Thanks again. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Very, very nice melodic almost bluesy song. Very calm music for dreaming. I liked just letting myself slide with the music. I don't find the guitar to be too loud. Great mix and good mastering. Nice! Greetings Manuela

Manuela, you have become one of my favorite artists on the Loop, because what you do is REAL. Real singing, real musicians, and real recording and mastering. I highly appreciate your opinion of my tracks. Thank you for stopping by. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Thank you dime, I like that soft butter on warm toast. Thats inspiring. As far as the genius, It adds up to being gifted to play guitar from a verry young age, and never stopping. I call it practice makes perfect, and repetition makes genius. Thank you for the motivating words. PEACE. T576 OUT.

I love this. The guitars don't bother me. Maybe just clean up the low end a tiny bit on some guitar parts. But I don't think I would have noticed if if wasn't in the op.
Really nice composition and playing.

Thank you, Slimm, You don't know how glad I am to know that the guitar didn't bother you, because I love guitar like I love my right arm, and I mean that literally. I appreciate the Onesty. On some tracks I will get opinions before I Master or automate so thanks for the stop by. PEACE. T576 OPUT.

T576! You took this track from “Just A Dream” to an actual and factual reality of superb musicianship! Real talk. Those velvety smooth chords and phrases. And that guitar tone……….. FAM! Artistry personified. The backing band you created is full on point. You better pay the band! Oh right I forgot…… YOU ARE THE BAND! Also the stereo field is par excellence like a slice of sonic heaven over my cans. You’re all set for the mastering phase. Thank you for making and sharing music that resonates. Awesome work! Peace.

Mark, you should be an author my brother. Your choice of words always humors me as well as MOTIVATE me to stay on my path to succeed at whatever kind of Smooth Jazz I'm composing. Oh by the way, I pay the band according to how on point they are on the recording. LOL. On this one they got paid verry well. I didn't want to master this one until I got approval of its validity. With your comment on board I'm ready to master. Thank you Mark. Always good to hear from you. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Thank you phantom, for the stop by. Thank you for the like, and more so the respect. The musicians here on the Loop are some of the humblest people I have ever comminated with, and you are on that list. Thank you. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Wow...

You have a lot to say.
You are also saying it
plainly and clearly on
this track. Content is
everything to me.
You did exactly what I
expected after the break
@3min, the waveform didn't
lie. I knew you were going
to bust loose. You did it
remaining as cool as a cucumber.

Great track. Faved.. PEACE from the East.

T576 replied 12th May 2023 - 1 year ago
Jynx I'm glad you noticed the setup for the busting loose. I can't stand when a guitar player sets up a song for the bust loose and plays a 8 bar solo. What the heck is that. I cant tell my musical story in 8 bars, because you're correct, I have a lot to say. My goal every time out is to satisfy the listeners ears for what I claim to be expressing, "SMOOTH JAZZ", so if I can't deliver then it's not worth the listen to me. Thank you for recognizing my goal on this one. PEACE. T576 OUT.

hey, bud. i’m catching onto your style and really enjoying the listen. get settled in and be prepared to groove. i love the slight grit in the delivery, honestly i have to strain to hear it. playing is top notch— fluid and gathering narrative detail. cool, my friend.

Thank you x, your choice of words is exactly how I try to execute my style of guitar playing. I didn't automate the guitar track, so your ears didn't lie to you. Also no mastering on this track. Will upload the polished version soon. Thanks again for the stop by. I was in the prosses of listening to one of your tracks and had to cut it short to get to work. Didn't get a chance to comment. Will stop back. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...

Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
