Description : Maybe grunge?
See lyrics for Bobo's thoughts on rampant consumerism and get lost in a wall of sound for a few minutes. Dont blame us we are just two stone heads on an island in the pacific its hard to do anything like this.
Bobo - lyric, vocal, lead and bass synth
Wataya - main and bass guitar, samples, fx and mix
A good track, really hard to define the genre, grunge? maybe a bit...it reminds me a bit of Beck, with the added filter on the vocals.
Good mixing, which is not easy given the multiple layers of guitars/effects, a nice result.
Thanks for listening! We like to defy genres! Wataya did the mixing and mastering he's much better at the dark arts then me. Apologies for the late reply. Cheers bobo
Hello,
Now I can't say whether it's grunge. In any case, it is very powerful! The text is good, somehow lyrical, but also poetic. I think you put the words into music well. Your island should be proud of you!
Kind regards, Manuela
Aloha Dimestop, thanks for listening. Nope, nothing subtle about it. I try to be positive but sometimes it's hard to find things to like in our society. We'll try to be more cheerful next time!
You got it man, I reckon post punk is a good description. Inspired partly by a Netflix movie called Ascension. Worth a look. Thanks for the listen and comment.
Well I can certainly agree with the sentiment. Faved on that basis alone lol. But I like the track too. Bit like being hit over the head with a brick. To the point. Nice work!
Hey Buddy - just increased the vox at 128 as it dipped and increased 3 of backing track volumes very slightly at 137ish (still dips but not as much as the first 'last' mix). I can hear the difference if you want to compare to the original download

Description : The try was to make an old punk song in a modern style. But i think it ends to something thats sounds like made by a 80´s indy band in a garage. I realy love that. The base of this version is free to use and work on. There is also the pella for download. This is my own workversion for the "free style and sound collabaration". Description : This is the full version of a song I did earlier. Vocals by Miper and Tante Meli. I wanted to do a little more with it but I ran out of time. Hope you enjoy!
