Great lyrics, great fun. Well done mate. To me, your main vox are still coming a little too much out of the right side, mainly in the first third of the track. Enjoyed my listens though, good stuff. Bobo.
thanks Dean, controversy is my middle name :)) wait till you here the next one.
its all tongue in cheek really and keeps the fun in, thanks for the listen and comment
hi mate hope your well, thanks for the stop off, ive tried a couple of UK vibes recently and they seem to have done well might be my comfort zone. this was the other i done if you get a chance https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/244608
happy New year, i hope your family are well bro
This got me giggling...I listened to this once before and had to come back for another listen and to comment. It's certified, you are a wordsmith. The track and your lyrics are perfect! you really have come a long way, sounding good! on this track much enjoyed. Well Done. Kudos
thanks for the listens Angel i been checking you too leaving my appreciations. i was laughing writing this track, i thought the lines were on point and witty as hell thanks for the support as always songbird
The title made me chuckle lol. One of your best characteristics is the way u embrace each genre u dabble in. I see music in a similar way u do, genres are only ways to classify music, they certainly aren't borders...but even if they were, im sure you'd crash through them Anyway. Nice work Paul. -Aaron
the title was only mentioned once bro, i liked the lyrics on this thought they were sharp but the wit was still there, i was gonna call it 'rippin off blouses' but drop your trousers was better, ya dead right bro, i'll crash through genres my way :)) keep listening
all these genres bro theres too many for the anoraks good music is good music and we get loads of good stuff here, we get the weird and wacky too but thats music for ya we just lucky to be involved ourselves
Nice intro! It's crazy how music is so universal and so the same I just figured out that UK drill is almost like afrobeat lol hey man I see you growing I hear it you know keep going man you'll find your you'll find your style your system and I hear you growing man I like it
bro its important i get your honest feedback, your a respected member and a producer i admire, you have always been straight with me, always telling me about more bass, work on my vocal EQ and on beat, all constructive as i knew myself but trying to get there is difficult as you know so when you telling me your liking i know im heading in the right direction and i too here my improvement, thanks for the support homie, and im liking your bit of harry, not bad us English you know :))
ace track Paul, your delivery keeps getting more assured and the vocal overdubs on this are subtle and really cool! production’s ace i like this style and tempo. haha you always leave em floundered mate!
Replying to your comment about the bass, perhaps you can layer it with a copy of itself and limit or cut the frequencies causing the distortion. Have the second part just playing the lower mids?
I’d play around with it in some manner like that. I layer my bass like that sometimes when I like a certain accent but hate the distortion. I actually have a bass heavy track on SoundCloud that does just that. But that might be over the top.
thank you bro. appreciate your comment. i put a lot in to my lyric writing and i liked the script on this, im still learning to get the best out of engineering, id tried to get the bass popping more but i got to much distortion, im working on a couple different genres and i look forward to your project share just listened to mix up again as i seen it there :))
cheers for the kind words Slimm, as you know i always try put a lot into the lyric and try to keep it witty, im working on a few tracks at the same time so hopefully keep the lines fresh and keep having fun, just listened to Mr Biggles again time to level up, i got that nip :))
Hello Paul, congratulations on your first song of 2024! A great intro, but what comes after is also well done. Great basic drive. The back vocals also fit like a glove *smile. The only thing I don't really like is that your voice comes almost exclusively from the right side and the backing comes from the middle? Is there a specific reason for that? In my opinion, the effects on your voice would work better if your voice was in the middle and the effects radiated to the side. Otherwise great sound! Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I can't display the lyrics textually. I think you uploaded the text, right?
Great song except for the little thing I mentioned before. But I think that's purely a matter of taste.
Best regards
Manuela
hi Manu yes you where right, i have put the vocal in the middle, i have about 8 EQ's on this along with a couple of delays and 3 reverbs and im still learning this engineering game but i think ive improved my vocal massively from were it was, and tbf i can actually listen to my vocal these days without being embarrassed i use to apologise for my voice now i never do :))

Closest to a complete grime track I've managed to put together. Grime is what I want to produce.
Feel that the claps and snares need better mixing, hit me uo if you can help.
I'm happy to send the project file (FL Studio 10) to anyone who could take this further, just let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP.
Description : Michael watched from the alley
he had seen her plenty of times
he conveyed her every move to his
warped and twisted memory
his probation officer told him to stay away from his old haunts
away from his old pals
out of the old familiar bars
and especially away from his old bad habits
but michael and there is always a but
did not feel like doing that
he felt like he was doing the right thing the good thing
the thing which would make a ripper look like a choir boy
and as he moved out of the shadows into the pools of yellow
he felt for the blade
