1.65 to 2.10 i think you were too close to the mike you hear the diff just after it. its not a critique just i notice these wee things. do you sing just onto the mic or do you have a dampner in front of it if you dont they are good for keeping your distance from the mic. what do i know i just came to say stay away from my sis lol
Brilliant man.

and yeah got all the dampners and mufflers etc, i usually sit have my mic on a stand and keep the same distance away sing from my lyric sheet, this time i stood up and held the mic. freestyled a bit, got to remember that now, i had such a laugh doing this, im 2 years short of 60, maybe i should have sang,
sorry i missed ya i was at the garden centre, but that tiny bit of credibility i have would have flown. my next 2 are both credible though, i act my true age and i think both are solid and both to looper colleagues work,
thanks again for your time Robin
First off nice job on sounding clear. Second how long did it take you to write this track I know for me it would have took a minute because in the beginning of your flow you were rhyming like crazy that was dope I like the part you were rhyming pretty good man. Nice Dime!
cheers Cinco, it took me about an hour to write, i pen lines all the time bro so when im talking to people/friends reading things watching tv if things appeal to me i write it down, so i have many pages of rhymes but its organised believe it or not i scribble lines that go together on different pages they are all over the page like a jig saw puzzle and over a couple days i put pieces together get the layout i like and then record, thats just one way i work but if i like a song i can just have one writing session and do 3 tracks, my last three tracks and the 2 to follow this were all wrote in one session few hrs and then laid out over the following week, you should check my track Predator, i dedicated it to my American friends in your presidential year, thats another rhyme fest you should like
Your contribution to this community is great. I agree, it's mad how easy it is to get brain freeze whilst producing music - just not seeming to progress as days turn into weeks, listening to the same output until it's engrained in your brain. I suppose it's the equivalent of the ubiquitous 'writer's block'. It would be interesting to get a flavor of how other artists manage to get through these challenging periods of non-productivity. It appears to me that, the more I produce, the more of these periods happen. Things seemed to flow more seamlessly in earlier days. Maybe it's just a sure sign of getting old though! :)
Dean brain freeze and a drop in form affects lots of talent, like sports, the best have off days too, but it is a valid point how others try to over come it. maybe if they reinstated the forum when the update is complete, we can get a thread going on it
i tend to take extra work on as it gives me inspiration after getting a block on something your trying to work, it gives me a refresh and things come again, as for writing a track, i usually write it in one session then just take words out and change some for better alternatives a smoother flow or better structure over the next few days, but i never change from my original idea though, yes alter it to make it shine but never extinguish that first spark that captured your imagination, when that dies your track does.
Hello Paul, then soon there will only be publications here with your voice *smile.
Seriously, I like your arrangement that you show here on LM. Great! Keep it up!
Even though I'm not a rapper, I'm of the opinion that rap as a style of music won't die. He will change, without question. He will increasingly crawl away from the dirty corner and also lose his importance as the sole voice of the oppressed and socially disadvantaged. In other words, the rap revolution is out, long live social acceptance. Whether this is the path to something new or a collapse of the original, only time will tell and each listener will judge for themselves. In the long term, rap will be no different than good old rock'n roll. Rap will divide into musical columns and live on in a different form for generations of musicians. New genres will emerge in categories that are already confusing. Nobody knows anything about it these days.
@EDM Unfortunately it has always been the case that good musicians have been copied and stolen from. Just look at the large number of legal proceedings relating to licensing law.
@Paul: about your song. I don't know if it's your intention to distort your voice? I think it's particularly noticeable in the opening sequence.
Definitely good singing on good music! Well done,
Kind regards and have a nice Sunday
Manuela
happyy Mothers Day Manuela, dont know weather you celebrate this in Germany :))
im sorry my tracks are coming quickly, its just one of them moments where my pen was just flowing continually, i will get back to staging as i usually do soon but ive got 4 lined up :))
rap will never die in my opinion, its ground deep in culture now, as you know my daughter, i was about when it all started, ive been in it all my life, racism oppression i joined my brothers on that revolution early. it was also vibrant and wonderfully colourful the graffiti the music and the dancing was all part of the process of gaining an identity boys were dancing round handbags like women dressed in black and white and shiny shoes, i was spinning windmills in the middle of the dance floor wearing yellows and purples and nike' and we both know and have spoken about the oppressed and how some tracks appear to give them a voice, thankfully more genres do it also nowadays.
as for my voice i do have a little gruff in there but yeah ive started adding a little distortion on certain tracks to give it an edge, you mentioned it before to me and its just another trick to add to my tool box. thanks again for a great comment and yeah sorry about the crass sister bit but it banged like Isis :))
cheers bro, im going to be perfectly truthful, for a song writer lyrics are your business, im lucky that great artist here allow me to show of what i think is my strong point, i'll never be the greatest vocalist, thats why engineering and learning it is important to me, between you and Morash, im spoilt for choice, ive connected so much to your styles, i don't want to be like all the others, there all the same, like the title of the song having lines for days and calling out your opponents is what it was all about, and something im considering is collabing with a great producer who will just get my dry vox and full control, see how someone else handles me
One thing is certain...rap is not dead and will never die.
Maybe different style.
I see that here in the Netherlands too, but it is still a rap.
This beat is very good and the way you rap on it is really good Paul.
You are moving very fast with your tracks, I can hardly keep up with you lol
But you can hear how much pleasure it gives you and the results of your perseverance are impressive
Rita your support is motivation along with the community were trying to build, i committed to too many songs thats why the fast turn round, but i do enjoy the challenge of writing, we will do something this year, i'll write one for us, ive got a really beautiful soft track next and then a subject that i hate, but handled delicately, im extremely proud of it, called See You Later, so ive been a busy boy
lol @ "where's Kanye when ya need him :))
getting sued for not clearing loops he used." This made me chuckle. Another good track Paul. You ain't 'arf turning them out. And it sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying it.
lol, thanks Dean, im going use that line in a track when i next diss, your lol made me think, it gives credence, its a good put down too, when you add it to,
you getting sued

im always writing bro. i usually host a track for about a month and change, usually just my work and a collab every now and again, but there has been so much quality dished up lately, im a big part of the community we've tried to build here, i promised so many vocals to their tracks, i cant make them wait months to here it so im hosting a little faster, ive got 4 lined up not all rap, one in particular has a good message, i can always bring things back, when i hit a brain freeze
your reply to me on your track also resonated AN OTHERWISE THANKLESS TASK, your dead right comments give you motivation other wise why join, thats why i give a good reply too, it might motivated others to do the same. its a long read so thanks for you time bro

Description : Something i did when i was about 15, and when i still made beats. This particular track is actually the reason i decided to get into composing at all. I had a good run with the beats and hip-hop scene, but i always had a leaning more towards composing and this, i think, is the catalyst for that revelation. This beat is 9 years old, and gives you a sense of what it was like to be a young, passionate, musically driven teen. Thank you.

Description : I found this old track from 2013. A collab with looperman member Mr1Black.I used RarCharm vocals on the hook.MrBlack sent me his dry vocals and I mixed them in with the track..not the best job on mixing the vocals, or the beat but ,I still like it.
