Description : Took a couple months away and decided to retire my old imac and get a new M3 chip imac. By doing so EZ drummer and Ableton had to be upgraded to the latest version to comply with Apple's new chip. And I just bought a new 50's Epiphone Les Paul Jr with a tobacco burst, "Inspired by Gibson" series. Here's the first song using all the new stuff. All guitar is the new Les Paul Jr. A song about a carjacking with a good ending.

This is a great song man! I've not had the pleasure of hearing ur work before, but I'm glad I hit play on this one. I'm a fan of music of all kinds, especially ones made by true songwriters or composers. U can tell the difference. Great work here, man.

I haven't updated to Live 12 yet but I heard it comes with the new Bold plugin so I should be covered in the future. ;)

Thanks!

Hello Wayne,
you know I like your songs a lot. They always put me in a good mood. This uncompromising rock style that you style in your songs fits your singing incredibly well. I also have to tell you again and again that since you bought this incredibly good guitar, your songs have become even more authentic and I can tell that you're having a lot of fun with them.
I hope that I will hear new songs from you here again soon,
Kind regards and have a nice weekend Manuela

Thanks Manuela!

The new Epiphone Les Paul Jr has 1 P 90 Pro pickup in it as compared to the 2 humbuckers the Les Paul I bought last year has. Totally different beast and different tones and I feel it's gonna be my new favorite guitar. Love the chunky 50's neck this has.

See ya around!

Thought you'd got the hump and left, but luckily not! Very good to hear your music again. Funny story and the song and guitar and drums are solid.

Been tested, hump free!

The lunatic gets his justice, yeah bitches!! lol.

My new Epiphone Les Paul Jr is pretty darn awesome, it's amazing how many tones you can get with one pickup. Plus it's a third cheaper than a Gibson, I feel like I'm stealing from them when I buy these new guitars.

Thanks!

Thanks! Good to see you around!

No, haven't noticed any latency issues. From ez into your daw? I skipped ez 2, didn't look like it would help me anymore than ez 1. But ez 3 is a different monster. Way more samples, more ways the tracks can be mixed, it's just leaps and bounds beyond ez 1.

Hey my friend

Self named track? lol
Very nice rock sound mate, listening to it with headset, fill set very nicely, vocals are great in this one, nice work on the vocals Wayne, wish I could sing but there's no hope with my vocals unless there is a machine to tune and much more before I would record any vocals...Very surprised this has one review before mine...everything works very well in this piece from drums and guitar and vocals, can't fault any part of it my friend...much respect to you Wayne....mos..

well....maybe. lol!

I sing, if it's any good is up to the listener I suppose. But it does help me get ideas put together much quickly not having to get a singer involved.

Thanks Mos, hope all is going well down under!

It was a much needed break. My old intel imac still works as a stand alone music production machine but all the new standards for internet were past my comp's ability to keep up. Starting fresh is good, keeps the mind attentive and updated.

Thanks Paul!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
