Haha! I wouldn't know gangsta from a lullabye - and what does it matter? Let the critics put it in a category - you just keep following the muse and don't worry about labels!
What'd I'd like to hear more of is: direction. Lyrics usually provide that - singers give songs meaning. With instrumentals, you need to be going somewhere - and, it's got to be simple enough that listeners can follow.
It's a nice mix - several nice mixes in fact - but what ties them together musically? Why does this section come in front of that one? The ending is abrupt: is that deliberate or did you run out of ideas, space, time? (Don't get me wrong - abrupt endings are cool - and I like this one - but is there a reason for it?)
To me, instrumentals are art. Art is an emotional journey, not just a static space. Yeah, cool beats are awesome - but look around. There are plenty of cool beats. How is yours uniquely yours? Where is it going? What satisfaction does it bring other than "cool beat bro"?
Good sounds, nice overall. You've got some control over your tools and it shows. Produce more! Lots more!
This is a hella piece yo! IMO, not gangsta... cross of house and diet-happy-hardcore. Whatever it is, its way cool. The onliest comment I have is that I think your kicks... your bass drum... cheapens the sound. Here you have all this symphonic quality tune blasting all the way though, and your drummer brought a milk crate or something... maybe that's the gangsta bit... somebody stole the drum kit? The drum sounds a little techno... maybe you could add more 'boom'... more depth.
Don't take my word as gospel, 'cause my tunes are all hurtin' and in need of mastering... which brings me to the next bit - you're using Acid as well, and you get some great sounds... I ain't go clue one on how to use the FX in Acid yet. I've been scolded for not following the 70-30 mastering/making rule, and its well earned. No matter, I'm getting off track. Great piece, see what you can do about the drums. (Kurt, Krook and RayKoefoed have all been helpful for me - in case you're looking for some tips.)
Description : Hello everyone! EYEDYE back again with a rap track! I think I outdid myself on this one. I tried a more modern style of vocals, stacking them up and adding my own style and I love it. A little short for my taste, but I've just got so many projects. Solo stuff, My metal Band, and providing vocals for other loopers. (I didnt forget about you Danke!!!) So, for now, take it as is and maybe I'll return to it one day. Let me know what you think!
Since yall showed so much love, i uploaded a cleaner version.

Description : The rapper is BadgaNFK. One of the drum loops is cg5music. The rap is about Genghis Khan when he was a young man known only as Temüjin, living on the steps of Mongolia. These were rugged tribal peoples living as part of nature in what could be a very hostile environment. I tried to capture that in this, hence all the nature sounds. The ending is Mongolian people singing.
Description : in recognition of the King's coronation just reminding him there is another King in the UK :)))
cant publish lyrics because there's more than 3000 characters. :((
its a banger, all bars. 6 mins+ seatbelts needed.
Description : To make up for my absence, I decided to upload something you've never seen from me before. For the first time on this site, I did not make the instrumental of this track. The instrumental is a generic rap instrumental I found on youtube. I wanted to focus my energy and time solely on the rap and its lyrics. Hopefully, in doing so, the track is better off for it. Let me know what you think.
Description : Hey just produced this 100% ORIGINAL hip hop/rap beat. Haven't given it a title or cover pic (you can choose both). Would love it if any rappers spit fire over it. Free to use how ever you like, just add (Prod. Equinox) or something to that extent in the title. If you do use it, definitely send me a link. Would love to hear some of the talent within the rap community.
Description : I heard a synth loop by Keishh (see link below) and liked it. I though I would add some piano, trap beat, and other instruments to it. What do you think?
Description : I love this German Rap Style from Mr Tadeus. . They shared the Accapella with us here on Looperman and I immediately went to "work". At the end I made a mixture of Rap, Hip Hop and Lofi. The lyrics are about someone who is always edgy, irritable and short tempered. He found out that at the end is must have been the stuff in the Internet that winds him up all the time. You may listen to the original song on Spotify
Description : When it comes to Hiphop, i'm all round. i can produce underground hiphop beat, real rap, trap, cypher. rnb... anything about hiphop music... this beat is made from an old soul music... THE DRAMATICS - BE MY GIRL... just put on your headphones or turn up your volume and bump to this... what i love about this beat is the ending.. enjoy people!!!!
Description : I found this Rap sample on looperman.. let me know what you think ..

I wouldn't put this in a gangster category
I think if you made the melodies more "hard" then
i would give it another shot at the gangta thing lol
But i do think the melodies used have potential
to be in a house track or dance
x-_Bri_-x
Thanks for your review ill keep that in mind next time.
