Just getting into DJing a bit in my basement. Old drummer/percussionist here and miss interacting with music, so....bought a controller and having some fun. Ran across your song here, and I think it's the 2nd one I noticed that was yours, and liked them both. Thanks for the jams! Keep up the great work!
C4. how are you? I have no idea what "Big Room" is. Much like the heavy metal community, electronic music has developed so many sub-genres it's almost impossible to keep them straight. But, whatever makes this Big Room, I'm diggin' it.
Camel Crusher and OTT are incredibly useful tools when used properly. You did well with this. It's definitely crisp and clear without any sizzle in the highs. The low end is nice and present without clipping or muddying up the mix. The overall feel is very high energy.
Good work. Keep it up.
Take care.

thank you for the kind words! my inspiration mostly comes from artists like W&W, SaberZ, Blasterjaxx, etc. basically Big Room House or Festival House is a subgenre of house and is characterized mostly by euphoric breakdowns, energetic biuldups and massive drops, usually around 128-132 bpm. tracks i would reccomend are W&W - Rave after Rave, Saberz - Bumpin Hard, and Blasterjaxx - Big Room Never Dies. Cheers!
what the luf is going on :) great mix for big room with a lot of energy in those highs without getting hissy. those drums sitting tight in this bad boy. whats your main synth you using for melody and bass layers, theyre crisp and dapper in ya face. i can hear your love and passion for this genre and i think hardwell would dance on this. i listend to some other big rooms mixes and your are in the top. love from a banana
Well the leads are definitely quite processed to get them the way they are. I took 3 lead layers, one with a wide aspect, one with a more mono aspect, and than one with a more fundamental sound i liked, put them on separate channels, did some eq magic on all of them, and put a camel crusher on them. Than I routed them to a single channel, put OTT and a basic low cut eq on there. I also routed all the leads to another channel, with a Valhalla Room reverb set to have a slight delay and long drawn out tail, so it doesn't directly play over the dry leads and instead acts as an echo to complement the leads instead of drowning them out. I routed the reverb channel back to the main leads channel, compressing everything togetherto make it all one lead again.
Very powerful sound indeed. I also liked the beautiful vocals from Junior Paes. I think that as a producer you did an excellent work.
My regards, Anthony
