Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.

you must sing more. Great. Loved to come down while i was listining. What a smooth, chill and wide open story told with a great instrumentation. I Do not know the ending from before, but i like what i have heard now.

This sounds absolutely AMAZING! like the sound of this and that guitar is stealing the show indeed. A very coolio and unique production here keep em coming, I can imagine this being played in a smoky room of super chilled out laid back musicians :) Nice one!

(One more small thing, you know me as an ending fetishist *smile, who pays attention to endings, the ending seems a bit abrupt. Couldn't the last chord have been allowed to fade out?)
plus it says at the bottom of the textbox "Min 5, max 3000 characters. Plain text only." which doesn't match the actual limit. i will try reporting it.
what chilled vibes. simple yet awesome music, my friend.
i like how open and wide it feels with the reverbs and delays on the instruments and vocals, while the dry, close percs and that clean guitar give a nice contrast to the reverberant parts. this is a good mix in my ears.
i get what you mean about struggling with mixes. i feel like my ears adjust and get used to the sounds quickly, and then it's tough to make the right decisions without using some other reference to gauge where i'm at.
one small thing i noticed while listening on headphones that i missed on stereo - and having the benefit of listening to the tune for the first time, which also helps immensely - were the high frequencies, which felt slightly distracting
i quickly played around with eq a bit, cutting quite wide and shallow around 6k did the trick for my headphones, resulting in a tiny loss of clarity on low volume over speakers though
mood is outstanding as the male "voice" ...
guitar jam is huge too ...
