Description : I crafted a 12 minute long fusion of trap, Heavy metal, and Industrial to serve as the finale of The Monderr Squadd's (my group) Debut, as I'm wanting as many features as possible, on top of the group's three vocalists. (I youre interested in that, contact me) I wanted some of the more metal influenced part of it here, but every Monzderr Squadd song has that to some degree. Hope u like it! The Squadd is coming soon...

Thanks bro. Yeah, I've got around 8 of these hybrid tracks now, I'm working on an album with a group of vocalists. Most will be familiar, I think lol. But that's our Discord Server, man. Alot of people have connected already, now I'm just trying to maintain it. It's just me and one other person moderating, I definitely need at least one more. I'll post another track soon, hope you'll check that one out too.
This is pretty damned good, man. I haven't checked out the full version yet, but it's on my to-do list. I especially enjoyed the section starting at 1:57. It holds a certain metal breakdown quality.
And on that note, a suggestion, if I may. I know you're looking to incorporate metal into it. But in the grand scheme, that goes deeper than just distorted guitars and/or fast drums. If you're looking to put emphasis on the "heavy" in heavy metal, I suggest listening to some Deathcore and really analyzing the break downs, riffs, time signatures, and mixing. Or, if you're looking more for of the "metal", take a look at something more in the direction of Metalcore, or even Post-Hardcore genres. Use them for some of their foundational elements as opposed to just surface value.
I'm sure you're already on top of it, though. Just a thought on my part.
Take care.

Hey man, thank u! U were a big inspiration on deciding to move forward with this initially, I had some ideas but they were in my brain's version of development hell lol. The project has mutated a few times, and it's definitely still in its infancy, but some elements have definitely taken shape. I don't want to lose any more of the trap inspired elements of it, my main goal now is to continue to develop the foundational sound of everything as a whole, keeping it consistent and the themes intact, but also catering to every group member's strengths. I've managed to do that to a much higher degree than I believed I would be able to, but now I think I can take it even further. I've said this a few times, but I'll say it again - I haven't had this much fun in a long time. I do have samples labeled with tags from all 3 of the "cores" u mentioned, but honestly only some are heavy enough for me and still usable.
Great piece of HM. A thought flashed thru my head - you would work great as a collab with Pony here on LM - she covers this type of music, too :) Kay0s
Hello my friend, Im glad u like it. A little more background on this one is that this is only roughly 50% of the overall track. Its intended for The Monzderr Squadd to use as the last track of our initial batch of songs, with as many LM features as I can get, hence the length and the 50-50 ratio of trappy stuff to Metal stuff, I wanted to be able to work with as diverse a group as possible. Its a sign that the metal elements are working even better if its getting praise being taken as a str8 metal track, even with the 808s and trap style drums. As for possible collabs, nothing makes me happier than getting to work with talented folks who want to create something great. Id be happy to work with her, if the opportunity arises. Thanks for the suggestion. BTW the version of this track on the server is the full 12 min version. appreciate the words man. - Aaron
It is an intense experience as if you had a strong coffee in the morning. Great musicians, and a very good mix. Your sound is excellent. Very well done
Best regards, Anthony
Hopefully it didnt keep u up past bedtime, man lol. This project has been a learning experience for me, and will continue to be. Im also looking ahead to my brother's solo debut Ill be producing, Ill be starting work on that soon, as well. Thanks for listening, Anthony.
Im glad u think that would be a good thing, word on the street is that could be in the works already.....These guitar heavy tracks are all for a single project, of course, but I think that they are evolving into a singular sound, so thats a very god thing. Im stressing the need for extra vocals on his one, its up on the discord, as well. thanks for listening, my friend.
Hello my friend. Well, what can I say? Great quality, great mix, great mastering. Although, for my taste, the solo guitar in the middle section is a bit too quiet. But that's just a matter of preference. The image of your audio waveform looks like an arrow. Have you noticed that? But that's how the whole song comes across to mesharp as an arrow! *smile. Well done. Have a great Sunday, Manuela.
Hey Manuela! I was just telling my girl that we needed to check out ur newest song, & here u are! Shes become a fan, too, just from being around me and hearing ur work. I did notice it looked like an arrow, lol. This is only a portion of the whole track, the whole piece is even more arrow like. One of the last things I did was lower the volume and tinniness of the solo pieces, I was being lazy and to my ears, they raised the treble a bit too much. but i think youre right. Ill likely re-mix them into the track. Thanks for listenng, my friend. - Aaron
Description : This song is my first attempt at trap(?) and was made ENTIRELY with Looperman loops in honor of this awesome site and also to demonstrate what you can do with Looperman loops :P. Compiled, edited/processed, mixed and roughly mastered in about 16 hours. I am collaborating with a Looperman rapper right now who will lay some verses on this and I will do the hook. In other words this is not a finished product just yet, but wanted y'alls opinions on it.

Description : Well its a trap beat at least...Guitar, synth, vocals and words by me (except for the title bit from a poem of same name by Stevie Smith).
Description : Step 1) Make a really repetitive beat (No Distortion).
Step 2) Make sure there's a long segment at the end of the beat of JUST THE BEAT because the actual song will only be like a min and 40 secs.
Step 3) For the "distortion", don't actually distort the beat. Most people think you distort the 808 to get the the XXXTENTACION sound, but that's wrong. Make sure the beat is PROPERLY mixed/mastered and THEN boost the bass frequencies until you reach your desired amount of distortion.
