Hello, my favorite lady. I'm so proud of u. U really are taking ur work to a higher level, and that only happens with trial and error, and becoming more skilled. And your voice is finally being let loose, I'm so happy. I'm honestly a little sad, tho, bcuz I want to keep ur voice for myself and I can't lol. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the world if they didn't get to hear it too. BTW, I have that song done with your verse turned into the chorus, I also have the vocal stem I made with it, if u want it. Rita, I understand that part about people around you not appreciating the same things as you. I've lived with that my entire life. But, many years ago I finally said, "to hell with them". They aren't the ones making my art, and I'm not making it for them. I'm making it for me. If they don't like it, they don't have to look at it, or listen to it. If they do, and still have a problem with it, then that's exactly what it is. Their problem. Not mine. It's theirs to deal with. Even if they try to tell me they don't like it, it doesn't matter to me. But, to be fair, I tend to make things that intentionally make people uncomfortable. So, when they tell me they don't like it, I take it as a sign of accomplishment.
What I'm really saying here is, do what YOU gotta do, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You're making significant growth with your voice, don't let anyone keep you from doing that.

I understand you, but songs don't always have to authentically reflect the present reality. Songs can also be about dreams, wishes, feelings, romancesbeautiful stories. They dont always have to spread pessimism. Try singing about the beautiful things you wish for. Escape from reality a little. Believe me, it does wonders!

Hello Mom, Well, everything that needs to be said has already been said here. So, Ill join in the general praise and say it briefly and painlessly: Great job. Now, of course, the bar for your singing will be set higher. But why shouldnt it be a love song?

This is a big step up, Rita. You are definitely becoming more comfortable with your voice. This one has much more depth and emotion in it than the previous ones. You seemed to be more explorative than before. I hope you continue to do so, as I'm glad to be a witness to your growth as a singer.
My only complaint is that it's too short! Other than that, I love it. Personally, I'd love to hear a nice musical interlude around the 1:42 mark. A little section with just the strings, piano and the percussion. Maybe with a little flare on the piano or something.
Just an idea. Take it or leave it.
You're definitely improving, Rita. Keep it up.

Long time no hear, mind you I'm hardly here myself so to speak.
I hope you are well. This track has a certain Je ne sais quoi it draws you in & I have to be honest your voice has a certain kind of hypnotic charm to it which is nice to listen to. Overall a very well arranged song indeed. Keep sister! and as the person below said have fun! that's what music should be if not we are taking ourselves way too seriously and then the fun of it all goes out the window striving for perfection that is mostly subjective. I like your voice :)
