Well if they had music like this in church I'd think more seriously about attending lol. There's some pretty amazing phrasing on the vocals, and some very nice melodies and harmonies too. Good vibes my friend, thanks, enjoyed my listen. Cheers Chris.

Thank you so much, Chris! I'm really flattered; this means a lot to me. I'm really glad you enjoyed the song, and its awesome to hear the vibes resonated with you. Funny enough, nobody in my church knows I singhaha! They just know me as an introverted, quiet fellow, and it's been a while since they saw me last. Appreciate the kind words, my friend. Cheers! Richard

Great song Richard, made me wonder was it the music that came first or the lyrics? So very well integrated one to another, lively and joyful. I liked it very much.
My best regards, Anthony.

Thank you so much, Anthony! I truly appreciate your kind words. In this case, the music came first. I usually find it easier to create vocals and lyrics when I have the instrumental or a convenient tune to work with. That said, when composing a vocal melody or tune without the beat already in place, I rely on basic chord progressions as a foundation. This approach helps me craft a successful song while ensuring everything blends together seamlessly. I'm glad you enjoyed itit truly means a lot!

Description : Music composed by Alex Richard and Laurent Wirz. With: Hanspeter Dubach Lead and rhythm guitars, Alex Richard Bass and rhythm guitars, Claude Barbotte Hammond organ, Joël Perrin Saxophone and me at the drums. The two grooves I used for this one are to find under Loops and Sample, member laurentwirz, reggae. Also an excellent loop from member ebae. I have to say that I asked Michael Mayo before publishing it but I received no answer yet. It was pretty difficult with his acapella because it's a pretty short loop with not a lot of words (for an almost 5 minutes track)! You can ear also some background vocals from Patricia Edwards and I hope it's okay for her.

Description : Richard Shekari and I worked on this project earlier this year. I play bass, guitar, banjo, dobro and also sing on this. Richard added a cool harmonica sound and has an amazing voice. I have learned a lot from him, Richard produced this track.

Description : A quick idea I did in one day, 2 mixes, more an exercise for myself than anything serious. Inspirations were a Peter Tosh docu for the reggae feel, a surfing vid on what a point break was for the vox, the Ace of Bass vid The Sign for the drums and Jaco Pastorius song Crisis for a bit of inspirational bass thrown in. 2 drum loops used and a vocal effect loop for the heck of it in the middle, he. Live percussion, cabasa, guiro and double maraca. Me on git, bass, vox. Here comes Summer!

Description : NEW - 2014 - I used a few samples from sterixx called riddim.
And one from seanmccuaig called vocal beat.
I used some lyrics from an older song by myself. It was more a dark wave song befor but i realy enjoyed it to sing and produce it in reggae style.
Hope you enjoy this version also.
