I'm feeling a absolutely warm and cozy blast from the past. This is a sweet track containing many of the elements that made early rock and roll the best rock and roll ever.

You just keep getting better. I'd like a copy of this if you wouldn't mind sending me one. This is one for the car.

Until then a fav will have to do

I really like this with a higher tempo, it gives this song the energy that it deserves! The mixing sounds really good too, with everything audible. Your vocals are so cool! Seriously! Really awesome update!

By the way - congrats on going red!

StÃÂphane - the stepped-up tempo really works - 1969 world garage rock sound! Gtr-play between you and Wayne is right on! Vox treatments awesome and so fitting for this crashing, burning love song

This is a great track, like really great. I've listened to it like 3 times now. It sounds kind of new waveish, but it really wouldn't be too hard to imagine hearing this coming out of a 1950's jukebox. Really awesome job.

Yo Frenchkid !! I'm no praying mantis but I saw this track of yours in the "featured" box and thought I'd give it a blast and a review. I'm glad I did...I agree with the other looper-reviewers, this is one class track worthy of airplay. A friend of mine's son produces mini album CD's of his own material and gigs across the UK. Your tune here is on a par with his and in some ways even better. I don't know if you gig or have a mini album with 4 to 6 songs on it but you could well do so and get interest. I know a lot of "unsigned" solo acts gig at colleges and Uni bars in the daytime. If you're gonna do any UK gigs I'll be your manager !! With each listen to your tracks they are improving and have developed your style. Great Song in every way.

What a nice review, lol!I don't think I'm gonna tour in the U.K or even anywhere soon cause I don't even have a band but if I do one day I'd like you to be my manager and my lead guitar player too, lol.I might do an album though cause I got quite a lot of songs now but I still have to improve my mixing alot!

Hey man..cool! Aahh I like this....this track has real appeal and it's catchy..(two of the most important elements of any piece of music in today's industry) sadly there's also the spectre of sex appeal..so if you get Lady GaGa to cover it you'll have a hit! lol...seriously this is great stuff and super enjoyable..I love that bass line from Mr Hump as well...Man I've been remiss not to listen to more of your tracks..I'll be attending to that!..cheers planet :)

Thnaks so much for the review and the kind words. You're right, the vocals are a bit "shy" on this one.I never really considered myself as a singer until recently.I posted another track called "Lost in Space"today, think the vocals are better.I'm gonna check your tracks right now.
thanks again

You have such a signature style, it comes through on every track I hear from you. This song has so much of a polished edge to it, much pop potential! Wayne's bass seems to settle right into this mix too, I'd like to hear more collaboration between you two! Great work!

I finished a bass track for you. I really like this song, it sounds like something I would write. A couple of my friends like it too.

There is a part in the lead that I'm not too sure about, it might clash a bit with your lead. Take a listen and see what you think.

I think, overall, the track works with the song well. It was fun working it out.

Wow, welcome back to rock. I really hate these genre bins, but at the same time I'm a complete fool for that kinda rhythm guitar sound you got going here. Great work.
Plus, as I should have said before, great pun!

Catchy little number, like it a lot. Def 80's new wave feel like jfw stated.

I'd sure like a shot at a bass line if you would like to work with me!!
Review Update:

I downloaded the song and I'll figure something out. How do you want me to send you the track? And what format, .mp3, .wav...?

How would you like to do some guitar work on a country/swing song I working on right now. Drums, bass, vox and an acoustic track is done, just needs some guitars and finishing touches. I could post it as is I suppose?
Thanks,

Wayne

For some reason this reminds me of 1980's new wave, as does much of your material. In particular you remind me of an early 80's group called Gruppo Sportivo, I think part of it is the subtle french accent on the vocals, although they were from Holland. They had a great track out called "Beep Beep love". Nice one - keep them coming.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
