Description : This was the 3rd track I did using Acid Pro 6... got a little bit more adventurous playing with settings, etc. I'd say this is the least favourite of what I've done, but was at least worth sharing.

i like it..what do you mean you dont like it.? good job on this. and to think this is only your 3rd song.... i smell potential. or that could be my new deodorant.. either or they both smell good..Hahaha
You're telling me I'm crazy and YOU are the one sitting in [what looks like] a shopping cart?? lmao Thanks for listening SpAzz, glad ya liked it :) ~Lisa
Pretty interesting backing, it reminded me of delerium, and you have an awesome voice (I think you unleashed it more in some of your other tracks though), you never seem to miss a note! Maybe one day when i make something that needs vocals, you'd be kind enough to do a collab :) Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I tend to do the chameleon thing with my voice.. my range is pretty wide so I try and use it however possible... and since my musical influences are from all over the place it's kinda hard to stay in one little box for long ;) I had a flanger on my voice in this one too so it sort of subdued things as well... a little too much I think lol. Wish I still had the master to fix that. Thanks for listening!
Cool Rei, I'll have to check out the song so I can hear which loop you mean :) I'm glad you liked this... this was really me tinkering around... never thought anyone would like it cause it's far from my favorite of mine lol Thanks for listening!
I would say debrah harry meets Madonna in your voice..wonderful listen. I just made a playlist of all you and Im now running it through my home stereo...LOUD!
its like a freakin dance club up in here yo!..lol
my kids are boogyin' to your songs as we speak..so cute...til they pooh...gizz.
Hah, both vocal influences... Madonna more than Debbie I think. I just sang it how it came out lol. I don't tend to overthink how I sing, it's too hard to try and measure up to established artists... discovered this doing the karaoke site thing ;) Thanks gizz! ~Lisa
this isnt my style of music its more of a ...you know what i dont know what its like but got a good vibe, at least you have a sense of rythm and composur :D
Haha yes I do reply quick ;) I was sitting here messing about with Acid and I saw the emails come in.. I got behind with my replies before and don't wanna do it again! LOL I understand that the music's not your style, but thanks for giving it a listen anyway :)
Excellent track! you REALLY gotta bring your vocals up, though. You get lost in the music(which is dirty, smoky, dark, with a light breeze blowing across my face), and I really want more from you. I feel like you are standing behind the music. You have talent, so let it shine, girl!
Yeah I will keep that in mind for future tracks... I'd actually lost it all in my crash. I am still learning how loud is too loud (it would be easier if I liked my voice more LOL)
I'll say it again,you've got a great voice!...which I'd bring forward in the mix...It's the main thing..it's the focus...it's the hook....it's very cool..........regards planet
Thanks very much! Yep, that's me on vocals... really I am using this as a vehicle to songwrite so I probably won't do too many tracks without vocals lol. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it :-)
I havent been active for a century and I thought I should review something here, so I clicked on the first featured track. I must say I am gald I did ... pretty nice work you have here. The singing I must say is pretty good and you have talent in writing lyrics, something I havent attempted to do so I cannot criticise it, lol ... Now the structure is good, well if you have singing you have to work on getting your patterns to wrap themselves around it well, and you did a good job at that. The bassline is pretty good and the percussion is very good! the synths sound pretty good ... any vsts used? now for the criticising, hmmm ... not much but the first thing that comes to mind is the production. the bass and some of the other mid range elements like some part of the percussion could have been EQ'ed a bit better, there is a little clash, but it isnt very audible ... The loop you used doesnt have a strong kick, which I would've loved to hear in this track ... maybe you didnt want one, but anyway ... also you could have put in some a lead to go with the beautiful vocals, that would have made this one a killer. Also the percussions in the break 2:50 I think sound good, but, there isnt enough variation i the percussion at this stage, but I guess this about as far as you can get using a loop based program like Acid pro, I know people would disagree, but I like fl studio instead because it gives you the option of
Hehe I couldn't dare change programs right now (only because I am finally becoming familiar enough to deal with THIS program). I really really appreciate the critique though, it helps me to know what people like (and what they feel is missing from tracks). Thanks for listening!
Thanks very much for the critique, I appreciate it. If I still had the original pieces I'd give it a boost... shame I lost it in a crash. Thanks for listening :-)
Sweet tune! That kick drum sound is realllllllly nice. Very 80s synthpop style. Very nice, and your vocals are blondie-like. Congrats, Im a satisfied listener!
fuurreesshhh!!! simply fresh!
the only problem is your vocals. You usually put your vocals together veery well. What happened here? They seem foggy and low volumed compared to the beat. There were times when i couldnt hear what you were saying, but other than that it was real good. keep it up.
Welllll that would be my evil little experimental side that likes to twist my vocals lol. I had a flanger on it and I was scared of having my voice too loud (I still don't like the sound of it lol) Thanks for listening, glad you liked it :-)
Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Description : A song about a damaged soul. Sadly, based on a true story. Gorgeous loops here are by Hardstyle Rythm, Aboe, and Princess Hollywood. All basslines by that fiendish genius Rasputin. Take a bow, gentlemen
SpAzz

(oh, and there's one loop I used myself for a song called
