I've been working on a project to try and create graphics (images or video) from the Universe tracks which at one point started as a images converted to sound. Here is the result thus far for this track: https://www.looperman.com/users/detail/223506

Made a change to the panning of 1 instrument.

Hi everyone, here is a track that I worked on a few months back for the "Universe" project. I just had the opportunity to complete it. It was created from image composites of Saturn itself, it's belts and it's surface. The images were first converted into sound and later used to what you hear. I was quite surprised, Saturn seems to be a very warm planet (soundwise). Hope you enjoy.

P.S. Not completely sure about the levels, please excuse, not mastered. Working on that with a fellow looperman legend.
This is really good, I love the peacefulness you have going on and the imagery of the planet. I don't really imagine being in the space around it so much as the planet itself, as if I'm floating over it slowly and drinking in my surroundings.
You and Shaub Yaella are doing some very interesting work along somewhat similar lines. He's done some work with algorithms that strikes me in very much the same way.
It's exciting as it reveals fundamental beauty underlying all. No surprise really once one realizes that it's all about frequency. Interpret and translate those frequencies into ones we can hear and appreciate, and the forms are revealed in spectacular ways.
Something rather prophetic about this approach.
Faved this one, as I can't imagine a better sonic representation of either the planet or the son of Chronos.
Thanks n0mad. You selected probably the one from the Universe project that has become my favorite. I built the software that performs conversions in a few ways. I'd have to write allot to really tell you how all works but mainly it's based on some subjects of wavelengths, spectroscopy and light properties. I'm in the process of trying to complete a v1 that I can release for others to use. Thanks again, I'm glad that you liked it.
Had to review this one as well. I really like how you are creating these sound structures. This is a fantastic setting for Saturn. I like that this one has more phrasing and instrumentation than some others...like maybe piano..idk if thats what it is though. There was one section where it sounded like it was venturing out onto the ring...um around 1:35. Nice ambient work!
This reminds me of cathedrals, planetariums and aquariums. Definitely lots of space. It's too peaceful for me. I'd definitely fall asleep or go into meditative, yoga, tai chi type state. Aaaauuummmmmmm...... That's exactly what it reminds me of. If I needed to take a break from the hustle and bustle I'd definitely listen to this. Cheers :)
Man what a brilliant track, such nice warm track but such a chillout type,so much a pleasure to find it in the featured and being able to hear it man, can see you put heaps into this track and it shows out, brilliant work man...

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : ambient, guess i was trying to blur the lines between soundscape and music or something like that. will still edit here and there. put it on, lie back and sift. bass loop from LM's megapaul - darktimes and danwilson - drug induced crush
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
