Description : Light hearted DnB. Pretty sure I avoided the pitfalls that made my last track so lackluster, but I won't know until I'm told. :p

This is quite cool, and an out of the ordinary style of DnB. Very cool intro! I find myself drawn to the melodies especially, they kind of remind me of something from a New Order song. (Just can't remember which song) Maybe it could use a little work on the drums, like people have said, but I think it's pretty good as is. That bass really grooves in my opinion, it rockin! Nice one!
yeah nice track i like it and here is the but. your drum loops are fine but you need to inhance your kick and snares cos the bass overpowers it and it makes it sound low i noticed you are useing a reversed snare right try an change that snare to something more powerful because like i say in every review the drum loops need to compliment the bass and whole tune its what defines your tune but i like it though just very minor problems i like the beggining and bass and melodies but i loose teack when the drum beats kick in but keep it up and well done mate check my latest tune called
syntholigy it is a very powerful dnb track to which ahs clear drums and clear bass and melodies you will like it any hows peace
u just gotta love Dnb, u know, with ur intro, my musical mind was thinking of a different tempo, and then as the real anticipated tempo came in i was like ohw, why did i not consider that too?
nice one u have here, i sometimes listen to dnb and even make some. urs here is kool to listen to. keep em coming
lol just reading your reply to the review... keep your head up bud... it already sounds good and its a credit to your ability to produce music at this point. now moving forward you just need to fix some minor stuff... dont stress it. youll get it
Haha, yeah, I know I'll get it eventually. Otherwise I'd have give up at the start and never gotten this far. :p It's been a long journey, but it has been fun.
I'll just be soooo very happy when I can produce at the level of a professional. :D
Sounds great. But there are parts where the sub doesn't seem to match the bass and they clash. The snare doesn't have enough attack and is too dull.
I usually make neurofunk, so for my subbass I filter out the high frequencies of my middbass which then I compress it. I also may add a little tape distortion to warm things up a bit.
For my snares I usually layer around 3 different types: metal snare, a noise based snare, and a snare that has the attack. I also have a pulgin called SPL Attacker which can add attack to your snares. I got it free during the promotion but now you have to pay for it.
Listen to my track "Unfathomable Depths for an example of my sound.
Every time I tried to match the sub to the bass, it sounded weirder than it does now. o.o Perhaps it's just my poor setup. Will have to fix that one.
As for the snare, I haven't touched the attack on it. :X It might be just the samples I'm using, but if you know how to fix it I'd love to hear. Always seem to have trouble with underpowered snares. D:

Well, I found SPL attacker, and I gotta say, that thing will help me loooooads.
But I still can't get this sub working. If I move it from the notes it plays at now (which are about a half octave higher than the bass), then it becomes weak, and any attempts to make it sound as it does now overpowers the rest of the mix.
I have it low passed at about 80 or 90Hz, and everything else high passed at 90 or higher. I've just got no clue how to climb this obstacle.
Music production is tough. D:

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Description : About five years ago I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:

Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
