Irie mon! Very...graphic with a nightmare-ish feel. You have created a sonic landscape and infuse it with a dance beat. As a VJ I was making my little movie in my head to go along with it, hmmm heavily processed science-fiction "B" films with 60's dance footage. Ok went off on a tangent. I will check out some more when I get some time. Suh-weet!
My first impression is that this track bridges the gap between dub-step and the more traditional styles of dance style. Some really cool sounds in there, like the scratchy-wobble sound. The beat is cool touching on break-beat rather than the usual garage type step beat. I like that this track is different but the same, if ya catch my drift.
I really dig your breaks (like scratching?) shortly before the 2:00 mark. Nice surprise there - unexpected and mixes things up a bit. Also very sharp getting it to reflect the wobble in the bass.
I'm been playing around a bit around this genre (around because I just can't commit) and find some of the "rules" rather baffling. Listening to your work here, I'm wondering how you don't feel trapped by it - and you obviously don't because you're keeping it "live" and happening with the bass throughout. Is that the key? Focus on bass lines?
I like this one, and wonder if you're done with it. The only constructive criticism I can offer has to do with the tonality. In my ear, the drums are really distinct as they're so crisp sounding. Everything else is rather muddy (not bad, just thick) and I wonder about giving more definition to something else. In other words, keep the bass as thick sounding, but offer a bit more separation to the vocal effects for example. I think it'd offer a good dynamic as it'd add further emphasis to the bass.
hi nomad, you nailed it buddy, i agree with you 100% as have found ive had to try to use compression to get the bass under control..it would seem it is a bit loose upon the release and wanted to tighten it up. i am not finished yet, i took this to my mp3 player and headphones as well as my car and both seem to tell me the same..just as you have..need to bring the same clarity and seperation to all parts equal to the clarity of drums.i do, however, like the darkness of this track so want to leave the vox 'muddy' and nightmare[ish].i agree withyou that the rues are a bit weird to me and the whole 4-4 goes out the window.lol..i am drawn in by the 'raw' basslines and pur 'energy' involved with this genre..loving it and want to venture farther in..ive only ever made 2 dub trax..this one and one before 'dub a lub dub' and a radio station guy approached me for the use of it so this intrigued me.
have you posted up any youve made? let me know so as to have a listen. i thank you for your great guidence and look forward to nailing this one yet.

Description : If you're looking for Skrillex and his cronies, you've come to the wrong place. It's not that kind of dubstep. This track opens with a nod to my fellow Vault Dwellers and Wanderers of the Wastes, and transitions into a deep, dark celebration of the Horror movie genre. Some of you will get it. Some of you won't. Either way, I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for listening. Take care. V.
Description : Update //** Quality has been adjusted from 160kbps to 192kbps. Hope this helps :) **// Hey guys, today I bring you my first remix track and my second real attempt at dubstep. This track is a remix of my buddy's, Golden track. You can check out the original here : https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/147676 and his soundcloud here : https://soundcloud.com/goldenookami. This is the short version aka the demo version. I plan on making a longer version later. As always your comments and tips are very welcome. Thanks for stopping by, and take care!
Description : This is an old project I made back in 2015. The voice you hear is Richard Trager from the game "Outlast".So, I present to you: Dr. Trager By ProPAIN. If the Site Director or whatever is willing to approve me uploading loops, then I will see about uploading the Bass Drop by itself for you to be creative with. Thank you for listening!
Description : This is my new single! It's a little different style than I'd normally go for (deeper and darker), but I really liked the instrumental, which is my HakaN96, and just HAD to do something.
Let me know what you think of it! My mixing/mastering skills arent the best. I put the song under the Dubstep genre (because of the instrumental) but with all the singing i'm not sure if it's more popish or not. What do you think?
If you enjoyed the song please like my Facebook page! I would love to hear from you!
Description : Hard, gritty, screech dubstep.
This is in a set, you can find the Drum loop, the Build Up loop and the Bass loop on my profile.
I'm looking for a Riddim producer to help me make the last song in my EP.
Description : yep, I made another one. I've been working a lot on my music lately, coming out with new songs in a day or 2 of making them. I took a snip of a minecraft youtuber's video because I got inspiration of another song, with.. the same snippet. I kind of copied the idea, but I didn't add too many vocals. Please, tell me if the mixing is right because something seems off. This is actually my first 6 minute song, idk if I did everything correctly layout-wise. (btw title won't let me put apostrophes)
Description : this was made for a video called cyberpunk 2077. I went with dubstep instead of my usual cinematic orchestral. It conveyed the mood better. check out the video. and let me know what you think. subscribe to my channel I'll doing more videos. love to hear with vocals.
