Description : This Corona is for you with a wedge of lime too ! The intro hook should sound familar. Latin rock, with hammond b4, acoustic and flamenco style guitar and some Santana style guitar wankin'. Most people know I am half Spanish...suprisingly the other half is Scottish ! So put on your kilt and sombrero. Grab a haggis taco with me and get ready to party. Comments always welcome. Hasta la vista wee laddies ! - El Bilbozo the Braveheart

Interesting mix.Reminds me a lot of Carlos Santana, which is meant as a great compliment! Now you just need Matchbox 20 to do a vocal and kapow! You'll have an instant hit.
Awesome guitar work.No doubt, you are an icredible talent!!

This track is inspirational in many ways. I like the idea of a quick nod to a relic, to borrow a term, as the intro.
The song was whipped cream. In this case, though, I'm not sure I need a cherry. I look forward to hearing someones effort to put a lyrical topping on it, though, as the composition carries such a presence that it may overshadow additional components.
Love it.

Incredibly inspiring. But in addition to Santana, you've made me remember Paco de Lucia. You know him?. Have you heard the concert by Paco de Lucia, Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin?

I'm a fan of your music and this track… well, simply put, I don't have the superlatives for it, but it is fabulous.

The production quality is amazing. The only thing I'd like to change is the heavy metal like dist rythm guitar during the verses up to the one minute mark. I think it would be better with a cleaner sound there.

Thanks for the oppurtunity to download and I fav'ed it.

First off, I love the Knack but glad it wasn't a cover after hearing this. This is pretty dang sweet! The classical sounded great as well as the percussion. This is such a pleasure to listen to as I love the latin sound.

Haha..you had me worried for half a second there in the intro..I thought...Oh no Bill's not going to cover this relic is he,lol......Sweeeeet! groove man..this is one of the tightest productions you've made of late (if it's at all possible to improve on your other productions..which I doubt)..I love the melding of the nylon and electric steel string guitars,it gives such an organic feel to the whole arrangement..the bass playing is top notch to...a fantastic Latino ride with all the rich overtones and nuances one comes to expect from the premier guitar slinger that is Bilbozo..you'd look at home in a Stevie Ray Vaughan black hat!...cheers Dave

I'm still trying to figure out what it is about Canadian men and guitars. Some of the finest in the world up there, aye?

I love the interplay between the electric and acoustic guitar here - it's almost (almost) like a dance between the howl of a bagpipe and a Spanish guitar.

Good stuff (though, this Kilpatrick prefers his beer as thick and dark as a midnight sky). Och, a fine tune indeed.

I knew you have immense talent regarding latin rhythms, but this one blows me away!!!
most of all it's the acoustic guitar that takes my attention, awesome my friend, awesome ... so smooth and relaxed played like it should be done ...
the song over all is a banger ... I can't imagine somebody who doesn't feel the rhythm ... all thumbs up!!!
I'm sitting here with a big grin on my face ... just happy to hear a new hit by Bilbozo!!!
thx ... ;-)

peace, rei

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
