Description : We all shall play!! Love when the mrs is out, I blast the montors, get wild and let lose! haha,This a track NickQ played bass on, I loved the line so much when I heard it, this is what came of it! enjoy ;)
I can image some cat, with full cat arrogance, walking around the family home while everyone is away exploring places she knows she not supposed to go. Staring out the window and teasing the neoghbour's dog. Great track. The bass is excellent and your playing tight as always.
Hi John! thank you for stoppin in and giving a faved review! greatly apperacte it! The lady of the house inspired me to write this one along Nicks bass line! I wonder, how could a cat be anything other than a female?but yes, when she is away!I play! haha!
Like the fast drums and deep base. I always like strings in any track, I think that's what adds feeling. Slight sinister feel to it. Like it lots.
Gord
Hey Gordw thanks for stoppin in and given an ear here! yeah Iam big fan of strings, they add alot to the overall sound of the mix, you just have to be carefull not to overdo it like everything elese!
Good stuff BM...Don't know why I missed this.hey, when the beat, guitar and orchestration come together is great and the bass ties it all together. The open hihat drum parts are rockin' or is it a ride cymbal...I hear it's a ride cymb now.
It seems like your guitar eq or distortion seems a little different than I've heard from your strat and it sounds real good on this...I like your sound anyway, you can't help but sound good with all the money you spent on that high-end Strat:)
Nice guitar licks BM,
Update...You can count on a few rock tunes and I think you may recognize the percussion,Are you bringing something out of the lab any time soon?
Hope so.
Hey whats doing Allen! thanks for peeking in here and given an ear! Yeah, I used the bridge and middle pickups on the squire on that and I have been playing with contour and gain a bit!Have some very chellageing guitar stuff to do in the next few months,so Id better get the ball rolling lol! hope those drum tracks were good for you!
thanks as allways for your kind words and keep rockin!
Anyway... I dig it!
Some things here and there I was kinda irked on.. but I really do like all the fundamental qualities of the track!
The strings are freaking awesome.
Serious CHILLS on the 3:00 mark.. I love how you kinda inertly dropped the flow down to half time for a moment.
On the pad, goin' "weee-ohhh-wahhh-o-wahhh" I kinda felt that shoulda been drenched in reverb so it was way out on the preferall side of the listeners ears.
Some of the pads just kinda irked me.. NOT in a bad way, but I always take it, like.. if something takes me out of that place of enjoying the music effortlessly, and I start to notice things, I just gotta say something? you know?
Awesome work!
I love the mood!
How'd you do the strings?!?
Great freaking job on those man!
Hey guy, thanks for stopping by and given a ear here, yeah, things dont allways go as planned,I allways going for ultra smoothness in the tracks, but that does not allways happen, and it get very challegaing the more creative you get,Iam fairly new to the digital world of recording and it is just a major blast. I grew up in Nyc with big recorders ,big stuidos and going for big sounds!
The digital world out it on my lap! Iam very excited about even being a part of it!! The strings came from here, where Iam not sure, but I know I edited them by spiting them up and fitting it to the hart of it! So many things I dont know how to get yet, such as fading in and out, speeding up differnet tracks and not the whole meter.things like this.! iam getting it! lol anyways, glad I could entertain your ears! ;)_ and thank you very very much for your review. Given me a better insight on making a better art piece!
Hi ya Wayne, thanks for stopping by and givemn the track an ear!! yeah, I guess the spy feel is from sneaking around while the cat is away!! haha
allways fun to do these on looperman!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).

Nice track man, solid sounding drums and some cool synth work. Kudos to NIck on bass too, that's a good bass line.
EDIT: One of the girls I live with has the same name and shortens it to "Kat" too.
