If you have time take a listen and give ChrissG some feedback.
I'm with Wayne on this...grime is not a genre I know anything about....but I know what I like and this is tight! Phat synth with a pitch drop always gets me emotional (sniff sniff). Great work fam!
I really dig this aggressive thing that grime is. It's weird, I need to study up on what "grime" really is, but every time I hear it I instantly dig it.
(the UK form of Dirty South?)
I really appreciated the wobble too... The steppin up strings...
Grimeny crickets! So this is grime? Never heard much grime before. Sorry I can't give you too much technical feedback but I can say it's a really good mix and a pretty cool track. I agree with others that some vox would be cool to hear on this. Well done, cool drums!
Ello ste.. Thanks for the review here, I know its out of the usuall for you, but glad you liked some elements in here. I think im going to have to get on the grime logbook.. sounds like a good idea.. I think ill have a sit down and type a good intro for you all. thanks for the welcome and will be checking your stuff shortly. Peace
I'm actually wondering after listening to this one if the time hasn't come to start a Grime Logbook? It's a genre I'm not too hip on, but have heard enough now to recognize what seems to work.
Hi there n0m, glad you could drop by, and thankn you for the review. A grime logbook is a great idea, I would be willing to jump in on that. Thank you for the warm welcome back. Much respect

Closest to a complete grime track I've managed to put together. Grime is what I want to produce.
Feel that the claps and snares need better mixing, hit me uo if you can help.
I'm happy to send the project file (FL Studio 10) to anyone who could take this further, just let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP.
Description : Michael watched from the alley
he had seen her plenty of times
he conveyed her every move to his
warped and twisted memory
his probation officer told him to stay away from his old haunts
away from his old pals
out of the old familiar bars
and especially away from his old bad habits
but michael and there is always a but
did not feel like doing that
he felt like he was doing the right thing the good thing
the thing which would make a ripper look like a choir boy
and as he moved out of the shadows into the pools of yellow
he felt for the blade

I liked the strings at the start, great drumloop in there as well. I haven't listened to much grime before, but I reckon I will do now :P.
I think you need to start the Grime logbook, as nomad mentioned already.
