It really is a pleasure to work with this guy and he has many great song ideas so I expect to do more with this wonderful artist. He had so many of the right elements in place so this song was a guitarist's dream to play on and I hope you enjoy it,

Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...

Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

The track at once seems so simple but I remember all the the thought that went into it...at the time we had few vocalist on the loop and I remember the little scat you added that vocally qued me what to do,not everyone knows that but it was such an easy tune to play too..I think I did the solo in one straight take,it was such a joy to play and listen even now.I don't even have the individual tracks because I considered it"done" at least all I could do and you gave me everything...a wonderful pallet to play but also when not to play.
I've said it before many times that it's not always how many notes you play but just play the right ones, which I think on this one we both accomplished.
Thank you my good friend and don't take my silence as I don't care,I just have A lot on me at this time but I'm trying to dig up some old tracks and make the effort.
Miracles do happen..I'll be back!
Love you my brother and hope you are well.
Allen
Your Guitar playing is great.
People do not understand that you have to play Fender Strats and Telecasters to get this tone.
I'm so pleased you enjoy my guitar parts.
You're right that the guitar makes a big difference.
It's all about the right tone in the end...no matter what guitar you use.
I was a die hard Les Paul fan for quite a few years and the only reason I switched was a trip to Nashville we made in the 90's and all the country musicians were playing Teles but I soon found out how versatile the instrument really is and for proof...yes all my tracks were recorded with it...even the rock tunes.
Thank you for taking the time to listen,it means a lot!
Allen.
An Amazing song!
I'm tellin' you my friend,I didn't start recording until I joined the loop and everyone here has been so giving of their talent and advice but the one thing that rises above all is collaborating...it's how I met SpellJammer on this song and learned so much just from working with him.
Everyone I collab with here brings something new to the table and I try to learn from their experience. We have great musicians, producers, beat makers,vocalist...the list goes on and on here on Looperman.
If you need it,just ask!
Thanks again for your review.
ps.I only play guitar and a little production,my focus is making these great artists sound a little better if I can...they truly sound great all by themselves.
Allen
Bravo to both of you. I'll shut up now and applaud.
Bear

I appreciate the complement and I guess the bottom line is it doesn't matter how you get there as long as you do.I would like to say that I pursued all these different genres but they came to me and it has proven to be an advantage now in collaborating.
Thanks again.

Thanks for stopping by and reviewing.

I actually came up with a small part of the melody after Spelljammer sent me a short vocal demo so I used that as my guide...maybe next time I'll get him to sing!

I appreciate your comment about painting a picture.Even though Spelljammer had the original idea, he put his song in my hands and I'm pleased you could hear my devotion to what he started and I tried to complement his vision...and we do communicate well, that helps!I do think it's great to have different influences...you just need to kmow when and where to use them,so I strive to get it right:)
Thank you again for listening.
