If you have time take a listen and give kerry some feedback.
You have a great gift of bringing the melancholic into your songs which I think is a winning formula. I like the simplicity of your folky style but I also agree with AllenV about collaborating here on looperman to extend and develop your musical styles and arranging. If you've listened to any of Minor2go's tracks then you'll know how good an arranger/producer he is. If time allows doing a collab would be the next step up. A very catchy and haunting track...
Very, very good voice! You sing like an angel. You need some colaboration, and a better recording equipment. But the soul is here, and that`s the most important thing in music...
Again you have outstanding lyrics, and the way (style) you sing this song was very good. You have a very good voice and I bet you have just scratched the surface of what your capable of doing!Just keep belting out those tunes, experimenting with stuff like effects, mics etc.and have FUN!
Very good Kerry,I hear your influences and think you have a gift for lyrics and putting all your songs together.I think Minor2go is on the right track...maybe some collaborating might serve your songs well and blow your songs into bigger productions like the influences you mentioned, you can do it!
thank you for your comment i would love to do well in my music it is just trying to work out how to better it and were to start from thank you for your great comment :)
Very nice vocals here. The looped track sounds great too. I agree with ChrissG on the adding effects part. I think with some reverb these vocals would have been amazing in a different respect.
You do sound a bit shy here, but everyone's like that when they start. So there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But I will say I think you could sound fantastic if you found a way to open up and record.
I did notice a few microphone pops, and I know it's annoyingly hard to ensure you don't have them with home recording equipment, but you have to try and get rid of them. Also, that microphone buzz is annoying as hell. If you can find a microphone that'll get rid of that, it'll help.
A USB microphone, which you can purchase from gaming stores for use with Rock Band and such games (it's where I got mine) would be a good thing to look into. I find the ones that plug directly into USB ports, the logitech brand ones, have very little microphone buzz and pick up sound a lot better, which would get rid of some of the distortion when you sing louder.
You have an awesome voice and you're a good songwriter so I look forward to hearing more of your songs :)
nice mellow track and a very good effort with the vocals, the only one little niggle and its only a personal thing, i was always waiting for a tempo change or an uplifting part to the song but it didnt come! but its still a nice piece best wishes always D. :0)
nice track here.. my only constructive ould be not to shy away from effects on your voice.. to give it a cool eerie edge.. and the vocals could do with a bit more by the way of eq'in.. However this is a beautiful song nice acoustic and very good voice.. well done

This is a surprise, for those was young in 1999, for the beloved Patricia (and the gift of her voice) and my brothers Nous2 and Jamid, kind people i met here. Let's go crying guys, hope you enjoy.
Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...
Description : Remastered March 2023. Recorded live on two mics. For my wee daughter Tui; I wrote it sitting on the bathroom floor, keeping her company while she was in the bath....

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.
Description : My very first acoustic piece in quite a while..
I hope someone grabs this and puts some vocals to it.
The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..
Description : Thats my newest Track all made out of free vst of the dsk series. Its a kind of chill out acoustic string thing that makes me thinking. Its very calm, inspirational and gives me power...

New producers never use FX to full advantage, it takes a lot of stuido time to even understand what is possible let alone doing what is right.
Great work Kerry
