Yes yes. This is a crazy ride. really diggin the plucks in there. and the change at 0:50 is thick and nice. Diggin the flute chops as well. Thick Breaks bass. all around sweet tune. Fav'd
Love the sound of the bass on this track, when it came in I was like "WHOA!" Awesome beats! Great flow, especially on those flute parts! This song could definitely be extended with good results. Very well done!
this is really nice work - I actually never really knew what breakbeat is - i am assuming it has a lot to do with the tempo and beat style - is this related to "glitch"? - sorry I just dont really know my electronic genres very well - its got nice intensity - love the flute!
This is really good. Awesome progression. I like the pluck synth that leads into the change. The drums sound nice and thick...The mastering is tight and robust. And the bass synth you have workin in there is nice.
Yea, I will just say as a producer to another producer, I feel that this is still in the skeleton stage... Yet you have a really strong and quirky/fun skeleton to build on!
I really enjoyed the sounds you chose and agree with all the other reviewers. Some thoughts that immediately popped in my head was most definitely the flute and then delay on that... I just love a wind instrument with delay on it. But that's a personal aesthetic.
Another thought on my mind, was perhaps moving some semitones around so you got more musical movement out of the piece?.. There's always those trusted 5ths and 7ths that work sooo well in electronic music.
I will definitely keep my eye out for this, and I am going to listen to some more of your work!
The movie samples are cool and always a good way to spice up a track. Breakbeat and DnB can be hard to pull off I find but you sound like you know what you're about.
Thank You very much ResistanceIsFutile. I need to blend the movie samples to the track to make it a little more smooth, I think I am going to add some analogue feedback to give that vinyl feel to it.
I dig this, nice a laidback in a way at first. Then it gets interesting :)
I really dig where it went, and that little flute touch is a major thing, really floats along with the pounding pulse. The samples are really good touches.
Nice track, I enjoyed it. The finish was a bit off to me is really all.
Thank You BrokenScythe fantastic feedback and much appreciated, I will review the end and see what can be done, its a little short and there is plenty of room for manoeuvre from the intro. A remastered version will appear in a few weeks, please come back to have a listen.
nice cuts, i really like the flow, but. you know this loops on 1:37, that keeps repeating throughout the track? you need to add more variations to it right now its in the foreground and very repetitive i think
great work
Description : I HOPE YOU ARE NOT TO LAZY TO READ THIS xD
All started with a Future Bass Drum with Reverb at 140 BPM. It sound like Dubstep and then all go fast. A very Deep Synth Flute with Reverb as Bass. Hig Synth for the Melody. High Flute with Reverb for other. And High Wobbling Synth with stereo Phaser. Many Crazy Snares and lite Stick Hits as Percussion with Reverb. End a Pad with the same Stereo Phaser effect. Yeah thats it. I work 4 Hours at this Track. Sounds Like Future Bass or Dubstep with a lite Happy EDM touch. Please leave some Feedback. Which genre is this? Whats good , Whats Bad? You know what I mean :D
Description : here it is a quickly done mix for this demo//mash up electro clash sort of // with breakbeat // crunchy soundz and FX.
Now this track needs collaborationS !
like a punchy vox and some keyboard skills.
I may add some funky guitar at the very end ??
If some space still avaible in the mix...
Description : BRICS, the new economic powerhouse of emerging nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In the struggle for economic dominance will cooperation prevail regarding climate change and other issues of global importance or will it be business as usual?
This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too.
Much thanks to all the Looperman contributors including: Doctyabrev, fanto8bc, djnab, blueskies, buffalonugaluss, megapaul, and 7venth12. 100 bpm, key of E.
Description : Update: big intro atmosphere breakbeat with evolving break patterns. I took off one of the synths and it sounds cleaner now. Also continued the track with another bassline /witch now I think it's kinda slow. Or maybe not ?/ I will appreciate every comments & advices.
Description : The classic disco song of the 70's done from a man's perspective, in a mellow semi-accoustic chill version. Original artist, Gloria Gaynor did this song in 116 bpm, I am doing it in 94 bpm. If I'm granted permission to post the acapella on this site, I'd love to hear what you guys can do with it.
Cheers!
