Description : First of all I would like to thank Zero2zero for helping me, giving tips, feedback, and just generally bieng a good friend.
Second of all, I'd like to apologise for not replieng to comments and not really reviewing many things, but hopefully I can get back to all of you at a later date.
So moving on to the track now, this is an 85 BPM track thats been in the works for just one or two weeks, its only 1:30 at the moment in length, but I do want to make it longer. Its the first time I've tried ambient, and hopefully not the last, so I'm not actually too sure if this is ambient or not.
There are three main sounds in this track, the pad, which has a white noise LFO attactched to a fruity free filter, the downward sweep effect which was made using a failed sound I made with the speech synthesizer, then added a kore player effect to it, and the other one is a stretched hiphop drumloop I made, but wasn't really worthy of using in anything.
If and when I finish the track, I will allow downloads if you want to download it.. or if you really want it, then contact me through my profile.
Hope you enjoy the track!

Ste this is a great start man... I like where you're heading with this. I too am working on some Ambient stuff. I think just keep adding sounds and textures as you go... Also what Bpm is this? oops never mind... maybe drop it down to 70bpm... If your comp can't handle all the instruments just render or export it as wav then reopen it in your DAW then add to that. You might lose a lil bit of sound quality but when you master this you can boost it some to gain what you had loss. This is what I had to do and it seems to be working so far. Hope this helps... let us know if you finish this sucker up...
I got a new soundcard wired up yesterday, I've had it for a year and I've only just found out, so now this track is running perfectly on FL without any crackles.. only problem now is the massive latency.. oh well, I'd rather have a higher buffer length than quicker response time.
Thanks for the review, and good luck with your ambient tracks, I'll go check them out now (or later if they aren't uploaded :P)
some good ideas here brother...I think for me you need to inject a little more space.... maybe change the bpm(not sure if that would work)... it a great start... maybe a few sfx in the first 30 seconds would make it wider ... spacey glitch sounds or something like that would work well with the lfo's... nice anyway looking forward to hearing the finished track... keep 'em coming brother
I think I'm going to keep the BPM the same, add more effects, stretch a dnb loop about 8 times and play around with the LFOs some more, I think it might sound good with those added.
aw man, if z is givin you advice, its gonna be solid. its got good atmosphere. i like the floating feeling in the pads. nice and spacey, with no tethers to the ground. keep at it cause this is good ste.
Im not much into ambient but i cant resist anything with your name slapped on it! lol I was gonna come in here and say this has a lot of potential, but i was beat to it just like you beat me to saying "This tune sucks" on Nicks song lol. Anyways i like it, but i definately think it needs more. I know you were planning on adding more anyways, but im just saying in the sense that it couldnt go like that for too long. Another leading synth or some bass would do the trick. But since your trying to do ambient make sure the Synth or bass is not too speedy (obviously) but that it stands out from the rest and says "Look at me, im the lead!" lol -Gabe
Yeah, I need to add an extra bunch of pad melodies after this I think, and I think more FX in the opening is needed as well, as Numberjack mentioned.
But I think that if I was to use a synth, I'd have to stretch it through paulstretch.
Really good vibes on this track! I like the sounds you've used to build it up! This has a lot of potential! I can't wait to hear where you take it! Nice one!
I like what I hear so far, this has a lot of potential. I think at the present time you have several avenues to take with it. I can hear this becoming a dance track if the right beat is put with it, or it can stay ambient and be just as good. Good job so far I look forward to hearing the final result.
I think I could make it into an interesting dnb track, but as of now, I really want to keep it as an ambient track, or if not, perhaps add drums so I can call it chillout.
I'm glad you liked the track though, thanks for the review!

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : ambient, guess i was trying to blur the lines between soundscape and music or something like that. will still edit here and there. put it on, lie back and sift. bass loop from LM's megapaul - darktimes and danwilson - drug induced crush
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
