Description : SpellJammer and I decided to do a guitar version of his wonderful song.
Until we get some vocals,I'll just keep adding guitar...lol!
Visit SpellJammer and you'll find the instrumental without the guitar lead...and other great tracks!
Thanks,Allen.

Al, I dont think that I ever reviewed this. My friend, you deliver a masterclass performance of guitar playing in this. Thank you for being such a consummate professional. You truly are a treasure and I am fortunate to have the privilege and honor of calling you a true friend. Breathtaking!
Thanks Spell!
Well,I met this guy with these awesome songs that I really wanted to play guitar on and with...wait,you know the story..... and I treasure you as a true friend also.
Checking some of your stuff out. Very tasty licks. Are you a Lukather fan? Got kinda that feel. Very very cool. Do you use an Ebow on this?
Keep rocking!
Hey laser,I like the way you think! It is about the sound in the end, isn't it and Yes,Steve is awesome!
I must tell you,I have to work quite a bit every time I get this sound. No Ebow but I do use my small finger to swell the volume as I hit the strings at times to get a similar effect, and talk about cheap...this and all my songs are done using the Zoom G2-1u,it's all I can afford right now and my computer doesn't like guitar fx programs.
I pushed all gain and distortion up all I could and added the delay so it does have that saturated sound I love,I just wish it was on command.I tweak the pedal so much when I'm working on a track and even if I save the patch it still sounds different every time...go figure!
Now I do use a LPB-1 EH nano power booster sometimes to pull that sound out but there's a thin line between sweet and over done, know what I mean, you can start to sound like a Big Muff if you go too far!
I'm afraid like a lot of others that I will be chasing tone forever.
Thanks for the review and inquiring about the sound..I wish I could say it was my excellent setup but it's just my ear and a lot of luck...and knob turning : )
Oh,I am 47yrs old so I've adjusted to this endless tone quest, and I record using a Tascam digi porta studio.
You and SpellJammer work great together, this is such a beautiful track, relaxing and full of energy (due to yours guitar playing)!
I better shut up and download this track and go back to listening hahaha... this is an exceptional track my friend!
The combination of you and spelljammer I love the as soon I put Loving the guitar man this amazing I think I can come up with a nice spoken melody for this
THis is some excellent Guitar playing! By far top notch! ambience, everything! Doesn't need vocals or anything! Ive updated my version with your guitar loops
This is one very sweet ambient chillout type of track, totally amazing, seriously you 2 work together so well, have you both thought about doing album together, both extremely talented.Piano and guitar work so well together, nice synths filling the rest of the track, another amazing listen, wow thank you both...another fav coming here...Peace n Respect guys...Estefano...
Thanks Estefano...we do hope to have an albums worth of material when we're done,it takes us a while to complete a song but we hope the care we put into will pay off...I hope to have songs of substance and emotion.
Thanks again my friend.
Thanks so much John.Spell had the production done, which made this very fun to do.It is so rewarding when the song starts out as a favorite and then you get to play on it.
Thanks again for your comments my friend!
Allen you have a great feel for SpellJammer's stuff. You took an already awesome track and made it even better. You have a rare talent, it's almost as if you paint a picture with your guitar playing!
Thanks Jim,He has some sweet music to play guitar with,it does feel comfortable because he just needs a lead instrument to complete his songs.
I'm glad you liked this,it wasn't planned...kinda like Heart To Heart, funny how those things can work out!
The volume swells at the beginning remind me of "Satch" (Joe Satriani). This is soooo freakin flow if you know what I mean! I think this took Spelljammers song to the next level and I wouldn't change a thing... including vocals. Kinda a late night HBO gettin your groove on kinda track (wink wink nudge nudge!)
Thank you DJN,There really is no end to the great material for guitar on this site.I get frustrated sometimes when I want to create my own songs and have a hard time putting it all together so when it gets too much,I just do a little searching and find these great tunes, like yours and start playing...I love it and most on the site welcome additions of any kind so we all win!
Steve Lukather and now Satch...wow,thanks my friend!
Ahhh...just to be mentioned in the same sentence as Steve Lukather is enough to make my day.
Yea,I can't escape my 80s influence...cause I was there,so I have to just go with it lol.
Thanks again for the wonderful complement!
Nice melodies running amuck!! Great collab again with you two! I know what you mean about adding guitar. Sometimes I take the main melodies and use them up with bass, guitar and mando and now synth tracks until there is no room for a vocal track. It is officialy an instrumental at that point, haha!!
Hey Wayne! Thanks for listening to the song and you know what i'm talkin' about...you can only wait so long...lol..and it's not even my song!At least in SpellJammers case,he still has these songs separate also so if someone wanted to sing, there's still room and I could go back and just add a little lead.I'm afraid some of my own songs are too far gone in the instrumental world...lol.I haven't had vocals so everything I do,the guitar becomes them.A few songs posted I forgot to save the project so I would have to redo the whole song if someone wanted to add anything and I would of course.
Thanks again Wayne!
Thank you Jamie!I try to complement the song always and I've said this before,Spelljammer's songs lend themselves to guitar very well and make it easy. It's really nice to load up a song and play guitar knowing the hard part has been done...lol.Now the other tunes we've done together I contribute a little more but this one,Spelljammer had every thing else except a vocal or lead of some kind and I was happy to accommodate, with guitar that is :)
