probably wouldn`t have found this one except for the forum post update by 3rd NippleMusic...just had to log in to say a well done & urge you to keep on doing it...we could use more of the bluesy goodness.....keep on & I will keep listening...Ed
Nice collab. Just want to thank you for the harmonica you did for me a few years back as well. You inspired me to buy one and start to learn it!! Lots of changes here, makes it interesting.
Wowzers, this track has so much flavor. I agree, that harmonica adds so much to the track. I Love when the piano comes in as well, as well; as when it starts to go this thoughtful route, with the guitar backing it up. Funk really went of. Thanx, seriously, your harmonica playing is the perfect fit for this.
The piano really progresses along with the harmonica.
Never a dull moment here. Constantly evolving, then returning, while still evolving. Just awesome man. Bravo
Truly enjoyed this piece.
YEAH TRIBUTE! I love when these tracks are made. Great job on guitar Funk! Love when that piano comes in. Harmonica adds a great touch to this track. Percussion is solid. The eclectic combination of instruments(and i say eclectic because its rare to hear a new track like this these days) really does the genre justice. Wow 2:14 this track really opens up. Love the piano progression, is that composed in your DAW or live? Very nice track and faved!
wow what a refreshing sounding piece, have not heard a lot of blues music, but have to say I am loving every minute of this piece, take it is you on the Harmonica?? nice piano, good beat, clarity and arrangement very nice here, nothing more to say just I love it...Fav'd man...Estefano...
Well this one was ALLLLL funktastic. I did the harmonica but the rest his all due to him. Thanks again I'm glad Funktastic was willing to use my sounds on this one.
Blues!!!! Amazing harmonica playing!!! The guitars are beautiful, but the piano really captured me. The chords were awesome! This should have thousands of listens and favs! Very professional sounding.
Been hovering about this one for the last few days finally got around to pressing play...you guys set out to do exactly what you have done and that is revive the blues on the loop..man you really can play the harmonica...i find when i stick it out the window of my car doing 70mph...i get a great sound from it lol...but seriously...very musical and true to form..both very talented. great job on doing this. peace.
Well that's the nice thing about harmonica... It's pretty damn hard to NOT get a good sound out of it. Anyway, from both of us, thanks for the listen, Mr. Funktastic put a lot of time into this one, and his work really shows! Thanks again!
This truly is a treat for the ears. The blues have so much soul & this totally continues that tradition. I look forward to hearing more collabs & keep tootin that harmonica. I loved this! All around the production quality, everything. A+ everything. This is how you capture people my friends, great music with soul!
Thanks from Mrfunktastic and myself! The production quality really is top notch and all i really did was jam along to a blues track he laid down for me. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks from us both! I agree about the transitions, Funktastic did a great job keeping this piece moving and changing it up. My favorite is when he drops the bassline! Thanks again!

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...
K;)
awesome, I'm about to embark on a blues track with JoeFunktastic right now & heturned me onto this - great work guys !
