Description : Really... this is my piece of arkwork I am most proud of. High quality beats, (loops of a similar amen break [made from multiple different break'] to give it a little more energy), three different but similar basses to give a deeper and more full sound, appropriate effects to amp the song up and ambient like pads.
All made with Reason 5/Record 1.5 (beats made with Kong), intense amount sof eqing, compressing and mastering (though, I'm probably not done that yet) to help the sound come alive.
Hope you love this as much as I did enjoy making it.
Thanks and keep making music,
Steve.

Thanks man, hi hats are actually synthetic, Kong's hi hat maker in Reason/record 5/1.5 is quite amazing. But thanks for the work man, this is one of my best.
I'll hit one of your tunes up mate.
Steve
Thanks for the review, it's not actually short, its 6+ mins, I was told to shorten it by the label this tune was signed by.
Second drop is better IMO, but it'll be revealed once released. (It was revealed a while ago but you caught the shortened version.)
I'll hit one of your tunes up!
Thanks again,
Steve.
Yea, the drums are to made like that, gives the amen later more room to flex.
Thanks man - there's another track coming up (fissure) that I think has a lot of potential! :D
Thanks for listening mate, and keep it locked!
I'll hit up one of your tunes...
STeve
Thanks man, so do I. You can never really perfect a track, though, for me, this came close. I've always had a harder time getting the growl of the bass with the low of the bass to mix properly. Seems I'm getting better, but as they say, practise makes perfect... kinda.
Sorry I had to cut it short, policies are policies, Label wanted it shorter, and anyways I've always produced the tunes to have a better second drop than the first. Sorry you misses out on that.
THanks again,
Steve
Lol thanks for that, apparently there isn't a lot that know how to make DnB?
Honestly man it's just being creative, organised and having an idea of what you want your tune to sound like.
I'll hit one of your tunes up mate,
STeve
Mate really liking this piece, it is a genre that I have just become interested in after hearing tunes from Numberjack. so many talent people like yourself here doing DnB, very nice beat patterns, good vocal drop, nice synths, clarity and the arrangement are very nice, have to say one very enjoyable listen, adding to fav's...Peace n Respect Steve...Estefano...PS have my first ever attempt at a DnB track up, prob still maybe needs some more fine tuning, but not bad for first go....Peace...
Hey Man, thanks for the kind words, I love producing music and I love the music style so it's just natural that I love doing this.
I'll give it a listen and give you my thoughts!
Thanks again,
Steve
I hear yah man, if you were on earlier it was up, but since it just got signed by Extent Recordings I was required to make it a cut. Whenever they get to making it a release you can purchase it then!
But thank you for your words of encouragement!
I'll hit up one of your tunes!
Steve
Damnit man! This track is creepy as hell..Loving it..wish I could listen to it on my speakers :(.. I'm taking note of the way things are panning and the way your higher freq. samples are.. This is nicely done..you should be proud dude!! Faved
Thanks man, this one took a long time and about 5-6 times to get right. Honestly there are some good memories going back but it turned out real nice.
Bass on this wasn't what I was wanting to hit, but if I had gone any further it would of beena mangled mess that no one would want to listen to. Though I think you might like the bass I'm working on in my next project.
I never imagined it to be creepy lol but I suppose you could go that route, thanks.
Thanks for the checking the tune man, I'll definitely check out one of your tunes. :)
Steve
Really love the feeling here, sure is dark but with a kinda soft touch... Love the arrangements and breaks.
I don't have a lot of experience in dnb (the one I made was my first try) but I'm always amazed by the dynamics of the beats, and the ones you made here I thoroughly enjoyed.
Great piece man.
Thanks for the words man, experience and perseverance are key aspects to improving your skills.
The beats and bass are my favorite pieces of the DnB scene. Obviously lol.
THanks for the kidns words, I'll hit a tune up.
Steve
I've not really explored much in the genre of drum n bass, but this track makes we want to do some exploring. The arrangement is great and the production exquisite.
One of my greatest inspirations is the artist, Break. Huge sounds and professional composition with immaculate design.
There are a ton of great artists out there, just find yours and then find your own passion within that genre! lol
THanks for the kind words.
ill hit one of your tunes up
Steve
now then mate this track is simply FAT. i love the warping bass and those bitty percs mmm audio ecstasy i believe. really well produced this, love how everything sits in the fequency ranges well, good stuff mate.
Thank you for the kind words
Not everyone has this opinion but i appreciate it when it's said!
Hopefully I can become better, that's my goal. Continually get better, then help others become better. :)
this is deeper and darker than virtually anything I've ever heard here, damn good and clearly worth the considerable time and effort that went into it so far, love amen style d and b with a modern twist and this is a top example.
Hey Sn, thanks for the sick words man, but would you mind clarifying... you do mean just looperman, don't you?! To put me in the league of Professional DnB producers' is a little much man, I am not that good. Though, if you really feel that way about it, thank you. This is just a hobby for, a release of stress, and I suppose that as time goes on so my skill does as well. I just love music man, apreciate it, want it, and love understanding/learning about it. Thanks again for the wicked words, mate.
I'll check out onea your tunes.
Steve
Nicely done big guy. I'm positive I'll be hearing a increased quality in your sounds. Though I do suggest checking out youtube and propellerheads.se for some very good Reason/Record tips and tricks.
How would you like to go about this? Email me and we'll get something on the road.
Steve
That is a very kind word, man! Thank you. I would hit one fo your tunes up but you ain't got any up! Let me know when you do and I'll check em out for yah! Always in for a helping hand!
Steve

Nice, i love dnb and this ticks all the right boxes. The intro reminds me of xample a lot, then it gets slightly darker. Beats are banging, dnb is so hard to produce and im crap at making good breaks but you have it down. I noticed you made it with reason 5, which synths do you use to make your reeses, as i have trouble making one that doesn't sound like a screeching cat or something lol.
EDIT: Yeah hit me up with that stuff, a combi patch would be awesome!!
Ez mate, thanks for the words!
I hear yah! The bass in DnB is one of the hardest parts to master let alone the beats. Honestly, a lot of it has to do with compressing, eqing and getting scream to do alot for you. I have about 5-8 eq's, 3 compressors, and 2 maximizers for just one bass. I could send some loops to give you an idea what needs to be done... though, probably a combi would be better yeah?

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Description : About five years ago I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:
the inimitable blindwolf2; ambient bass loop - danke; arax; l-3436512-0214678; apollo; drmistersir; looperman-l-0291301-0226917; looperman-l-2972616-0231648; jakebur4; looperman-l-0337508-0047278; buffalonugalus; mmedia
Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
