Nice old school, funky house jam. Love the bass, and the percussion in particular. I'd advise you to change the genre name though - "house" or even "deep house" would be more appropriate. I usually don't care about genres, but this is as far from D'n'B as possible without being pop or ambient.
not really my style of house but still very cool vibes
I don't think it needs to get more pumped up... ;)
Just put it in the "House" genre and then "everything is going to be alright" lol
Hi - just unbelievable drum programming and very smart samples mixed in - this must / will become a hit in the clubs i believe
well done and a good motivation to carry on with my music work
cheers - ralf from germany
definitly funky stuff, makes me think of an open air jam, i like this kinda vibe, nice and subtle bass. I'd organize vocals differently or use other vocal at all though, the everything and cmon sound awesome, the rest seems a tiny bit on the low tone side. I love how it's pumping energy, this can make a cool dance track.
Ho ho - someone else rattling the cages of the DnB purists! Good for you!
This is original stuff, to be sure. You've fused all the best elements from the stuff you're drawing from, and it's really effective. This is music that motivates movement, and I challenge anyone listening to try to sit still through the play.
On the second listen, I was just trying to find room for improvement (as per your desire to "pump it up" further). I thought maybe increasing the subs on the bass, but think that you've got it perfect as is. Maybe a "pregnant" pause where things hang for a few seconds?
I don't know...bloody brilliant as is. And I love the fade out at the end, especially with that overtone hanging. Sweet.
Nice solid beat on this one. I'm really not sure DnB is the right genre. It has a bit of funk and a bit of fusion and a bit of jazz and yes even a bit of ethnic in it. Maybe House is the right genre. Kind of Funk House. Wow, another new genre...lol.
Btw, vocals are very effective here. They supply the "melody" and it works really well. Got my foot tapping. Solid.
funky, groovy, great flow...not really d and b,usually 160bpm or higher, but i give up on trying to figure out all these genres, not sure what u would do to pump it up more, maybe some synth work
Hey Man! Nice funky rhythm you got going on in this track!
The vocals work really well in this too adding an extra flavor to this! I think the vocals are from Blues Legend BB King right?
Brilliant idea of turning that track into a funky house anthem!
Great stuff! Keep it up!
The genre doesn't matter, everything gonna be alright mayn XD tight bass chords man LOL I like it the way it is, but if you feel like you should pump it up you go ahead, I trust that you can make it more groovy :-)
this a pretty groovy song but i think its more minimal techno than dnb... i like the vocals used. you should mabey add some synths to help the bass stand out more if you know what i mean :)
Very cool beat, rollerskating music from back in the 70's!! I like percussion so the congas caught my ear right away. Nicely put together, some good changes and really nice sounding production, not cluttered but plenty going on.
Description : Unofficial preview* of my upcoming first produced track named Therapy. Litterly a cut out of the track. Uploaded with first thought of letting it hear to a fellow Looperman member for a possible collab later on.
Comments are welcome tho!
About the preview, after the drop will start to another semi drop and with an harder more rawish main chorus part behind. Everything is as good as done now and being checked by demo listeners for response and feedback before getting a last hand at mixing&mastering.
Description : My first house song (on looperman). It's actually mix of progressive and dutch house. Hope you'll enjoy this! :) If you have time you can leave feedback, it's always appreciated!
Description : Ugly ass witch house beat that isn't technically a house beat. (The Drum Track is by LM's Danke.) The Track's based on an older beat of mine with the same name. This version's half as long & not as busy. The Synths are Synthmaster, Massive, Dark Keys & Creep Piano. And of course, It wouldn't be a Clickbait Cabaret beat without nine zillion FX plugins. Pretty sure all of them are on this beat.
Description : Funk House/Disco inspired by Daft Punk
No Samples used
Instruments:
Various vintage synths
Kontakt libraries: Ilya Efimov Telecaster for guitar, Session Horns Pro, Chris Hein Strings, NI Guitars
Vocals: Plogue Chipspeech & Alter Ego
Description : check out janimifsson for these vocals
learning how to do house
good vocal effects
terrible drums
couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment
Description : Melodic Progressive House with the lyrics by Mr.Shammi (visit his account here for incredible nice acapellas!). The ref is in Melbourne-Bounce-Style.
Description : Update: So this was the looper tune that started it all for me on this site. Hard to believe it was Over 10 years ago. This tune carries the ethos I bring to music...interesting, always change the genre mid-flight and you won't see what's coming next. Also cool to see the early comments and who is still around as well. (#Feeling retro tonight) Orig: Trance-step tune that changes direction a few times
Description : EDM song with cliche "Animal" drop. Let me know if you would like the big kicks, claps, or drop synth. (only ones I can give out) Key of F# minor. Made with Ableton Live 9 Suite.
