Description : Alright, this was something I came across back in March and think I made mention of wanting to maybe mess with it (saying something about it needing more Bass or similar, shrugs). Though I only did that on this mix somewhat. I really just went to town on adding various effects and I think this honestly can't be considered a remix since I didn't make any real changes to the original (except for said effects and extending the overall playtime via starting the original later and both beginning and ending the track with effects loops).
I've thrown this up under Techno because I can't remember what the original was classified as. And it just sounds that way to me now, eh, I dunno. So I hope yall like this take on it and I'm sorry, but it won't be avail for download until I get word back saying that it's alright to do so. Later on yall!

Kinda got a haunting feel to it that overpowers everything else to be honest I think it should be turned down (the haunting synth) Beat is drowned out by it.
There's really no base melody to it that people can remember it by. Not saying it has to have it just saying it would be nice to hear something thats catchy than just the beat, you know?
Keep it up man,
Get some more DnB choons up!
Steve :)
I hear ya mate. This was more of an experiment with effects than anything else. The "haunting synth" was created that way. If I were to pick this up again I'd def keep those suggestions in mind (as this does sound somewhat flat beyond the beat & FX). Would prolly also add some nice floaty pads to it too now that I think about it. Prech the feedback mate. Later on!
Ha, you were right. The atmosphere on this, especially when it begins, is a lot like the track of mine you reviewed. Although here it sounds much, much, much better because it seems to evolve, there's a lot more going on with it and....well it just is better.
Honestly, I love everything going on in this track except for the drums. Personal preferences and all, but I think a clean, minimal beat pattern would work much better for the atmosphere you've created than the vaguely industrial techno drums you've currently gone with. As it stands, the drums are neither here nor there...they're not weak/steady enough to just melt into the background while you lose yourself in the atmosphere and they're not powerful enough to get you dancing either. As a result it just seems to distract from the cold eeriness of the pads and fx, which to me is the strength of this track.
The beat there is simply acting as a steady, solid base while you lose yourself in everything around it [it's a short clip of a 8 and a half minute song and honestly works much better over the whole running time, but you get the idea]. You could dance to it, if you were so inclined, but you could also just get lost in it. Or you could do both. Of course at the end of the day, taste is subjective and what I like/want from a song, you may not and vice versa.
I've rambled on far too long so I should just end this by saying I do actually like this track overall. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, I hear ya mate. Most of the cool stuff with this song is thanks to MrE & his original mix. My only contribution was the effects & some rearranging (as I did this back in my second phase of remixing).
I scoped that vid & its vibe was dead-on with this one. IMO, the way they vary is the approach (that one was more centered & in-the-same-room while this one was more indirect & in-another-room like).
My approach here was to make the listener move away from the dance floor & to put them somewhere like out on the street or something. A sort of Cinematic approach to EDM (kinda like what happened in Hollywood last year), ya know? And no worries about the ramble, I do it too every now & then (when it strikes me). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
This has a dark feel to it. I love how you used the wind samples. Actually I've had that idea for my tracks to. Add nature sounds in the background.Good mix to it sounds alright in my new laptop that has Dolby advance audio Lets see with headphones on. Good mix to I can hear the bass now. Reminds me of a tune for this one video game lol . . . not very helpfull but nice work :)
Yeah, the wind sound was actually a spin-off result of all the effects that I had placed on the samples. Oh & if you ever get the chance try to mix your stuff in 5.1 Surround (it sounds so wicked). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
An eerie track man! I don't know if I hear the original, but I like what you've done with it. Great FX work! I like the ending with the waves and all...atleast it sounds like waves. Really nice work!
I dunno mate, you might have. I remember that this was a track of his that I reviewed in 2008 and I know that he later took it down (dunno if it was in 08 or 09). Sadly, I don't even think he has the original because the computer it was on crashed (if I recalling right him saying that in an email he sent me). Either way, this one lives on... Just imagine it without all the spooky/dark effects added on and you'll have an idea of how it sounded (didn't do much to the original song on this mix). At any rate, glad ya dug it. Later on!
I've actually listened to a number of your tracks before but this one is still one of my favorites. It's kind of Techno but really more Cinematic in flavor. It's a nice mood maker, MrE is good at that, but you've enhanced it considerably with the effects processing. I think it could even be longer since it sets such an nice mood. The jungle, the wind, the water, very exotic.
Yeah, this was done back when I was still just messin around with remixes. Ern laid down a pretty solid foundation that I just accentuated with the different effects. And the original was only like 3:10-15, so I didn't stretch it out that much, but enough for a decent radio edit me thinks (def agree this could go on longer though). Glad ya dug it. Lates!
I dig the dark foreboding atmosphere. I wonder why nobody downloaded this. Reading the reviews this track reaches to one's darker imagination. I feel Post nuclear melancholy. Great track.
I dunno mate, maybe my description throws people off. It might have to do with the original (song being taken down and artist not commenting).
As for the atmos in this, I just figured that given the name the dark feel would be fitting. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Thanks and umm, man, I'm tryin to think back. It was definitely an Effect I added onto the main song. Kinda hard to peg it down to which one because there was like... 4 channels of Effects I used on this, I think. I think it was= EQ, Distort, and Amp Simulation. Beyond that I'd haveta go back & check. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Hell if I had of given you a working brief that stated...."I want you to imagine a sound track that portrays black turn of the century mine workers toiling away in Stygian murderous conditions with overtones of industrial Hell"..you couldn't have come up with a better result...this is damn freaky...not that I can be scared easily..but it's easy to say sitting here reviewing from my comfortable computer chair...if I was down the mine and some joker put this on(not mentioning any names)..it would freak the hell out of me!....this track feels like 3 miles of rock bearing down above your head..it's quite intimidating 10/10 not for the faint of heart lol..cheers mate :)
It's funny that you mention that because just the other day I was watching 'October Sky' (I think that's the name) with Jake Gyllenhaal and the scene where they were down in the mine all hunched over kinda reminded me of what you said here. I think my vision when I was doing this was kinda trying to capture the feeling of standing on the edge of a giant precipice underground and the chasm would be so deep that it'd be pitch black. Then I remembered the 3rd Indiana Jones movie where he was on the final test (the leap of faith) and he had to try to walk across air over the bottomless crack. Oddly enough earth doesn't scare me as much as being really deep underwater. Anywho, glad ya dug it mate. Later on!
Well after you favored my Drum Line track Looperman told me to give a little love to you Donny. But that sounds very eerie if that is how you spell it. If I ever get lost in a tundra alone this is definitely what what I am going to think of.
Aww, crud. Sorry mate, I downloaded it too and tried to leave a comment, but I got error messages whenever I'd try to post it. I think I've got 'em saved. Lemme check... Aww sweet, I do. Alright, I'll throw 'em yer way once I post this. And yeah, you spelled it right (or is it, eery, hmm, can't remember now, just know that's how the great lake is named, haha). Hopefully the lost in the Tundra thing never happens. Cheers!
Ok, I'll be the first...Loved the original, and love this one. It's a barren wasteland filled with all the beasties that come out at night...only one man can stand against them...
Yeah, sometimes it's like that, but eh, whatev. It's funny coz when I was messing with this track I didn't have any particular direction or vision in mind. I just laid it down and went to town. Named it what I did because of the original's title. Kinda like goin off of that whole, 'blind faith' thing. Though I'd haveta agree with you upon relistening to it. The breathey part does make it sound kinda like a slasher horror epic game or something. Don't lemme forget that I owe ya three whenever ya upload some new tracks. Later on!

Mysterious intro continued by a hypnotic yet very energetic trip through different techno productions. I have at least 2 more techno parts to add and a few more scary booby traps. All together a 3/4 more mins to stack behind it. After that i'll run through the piece again, finalize mixing, master it and upload incl. download. Any feedback is welcome! MMMMMMMH FRESH MEAT!
Description : techno track, haven't made one of my own in a while. Now remastered with more noises. Created in FL Studio, but rendered in audacity (Fl is very bad at making mp3s). Let me know what ya think

A rework of an old song "After The Fact" which I believe is still on my old profile on here. Enjoy or don't
Thanks for joining me on this wild ass ride. Fuckin crazy it's been 13 years of music. Insane. Thank you to everyone who's ever listened to a song I've uploaded whether on here as zacvoos or ApolloForce, or on my soundclouds as ZachUndefined, RunnerTwoThree, or ApolloForce. Thank you all.
