I've not heard this one before. But i will be again. It's straight on to the MP3.
Your style in this reminds me a little of Slash (I mean the guy from gun's n' roses as opposed to the english slang for having a p*ss)
Splendid piece of work my friend as always.

Hey FR,this was a little different for me but then again,I don't know what is "me" lol...I lost me after Chunky and Funky.
It's all good though and I'm glad you cleared up the Slash thing...but hey, whatever makes you feel good and isn't that what it's all about anyway, feeling good!!

What is there to say which hasn’t been said already! Sublime, as always. Your playing has given this track a very commercial and great vibe. Vicen's vocals are killa and perfectly complimented by you! What can I say man, you’re my hero! The world is a better place for having a guy with your talents, humility and personality. You have no idea how much your willingness to partake in collabs with all of us has taught us in the musical sense, Im sure Vicen will agree. Keep being you my friend, you are destined for great things!

Thank you my good friend.Vicen is a great talent and I'm fortunate to play on his track. You know I feel undeserving of you kind words..it's I who am learning every day and am so happy to share anything in any way I can.
I played many years in bars to feed myself and family but now I get to feed my soul so I'm the lucky one with friends like Vicen...and yourself.
I have found happiness in my family, friends on and off the loop and of course music...anything else would be icing on the cake!

Thanks Wayne,I'm still working on my guitar tones and I really didn't know what would work here cause Vicen is so awesome and you hate to do anything that would take away from his great style,but.....I did give him the final say in this :)

Vicen Rocks!

Hope your feeling well Wayne, take care!

This is quite cool. :)
nice chilled slomo rock. nice fills from the guitar. it's a great arrangement and there are some incredible solos in this track! :)
a musical baby! :)
faved for sure!

p.s.: sometimes the solos are not perfect clean and sometimes more phrasing would be great. but who cares, it rocks as hell! ;)
AllenV
AllenV replied Unknown
Hey Glocke!I hear ya about the solos, this is kind of experimental for me,the ground is a little new and different. At timesI really didn't know what would work so we bounced ideas back and forth...quite a long bounce from here to Spain!

Thanks again for the input,I appreciate it!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
