my goal was to compose a piece that could fit in the presentation of logo in cinema for example.

Thank you again to everyone who listened, commented and downloaded my first track that I uploaded on Looperman about 3 years ago called Victory March!! This is the extended version of Victory March. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mixing it together!!
I want to first give credit where credit is due. I added one more loop to the song which was a harp sound, but I apologize I forgot which artist on Looperman created it! Description : Chillout and uptempo cello-based track. A mixture of 160BPM ambient drum 'n' bass (drum 'n' cell) and 80 BPM deep groove sections. The main lead instrument is electric cello, supported by a load of far out synths. VSTs include: a lyre, a glissando harp, a plucked harp, a choir synth, two synth basses and a few synth pads. Drums are a merger of drum loops and programmed acoustic kits. Quite a few cello techniques used: bowing, pizzicato, spiccato and harmonics (both plucked and bowed). This took many hours to make, over a couple of months, hence the title. It's not a great track but it has a positive, uplifting, summery vibe so should be fairly enjoyable. Or at least some inoffensive background music. Have a listen and let me know what you think. Interesting and/or intelligent feedback is always appreciated...

Description : this takes you to heaven and to hell and back again, you start in heaven hearing an angelic choir. then you begin to fall. you hear the minions of hell calling you, then you start to see the atrocities. you close you eyes and turn your head to Heaven and see the angels coming. you realize you are now in the middle of a clash of good and evil.then the angels grab you and pull you from bowls of hell. sorry for the story, you can use you own imagination.

Description : First attempt at Trance I feel is good enough to publish, its much harder than it sounds. I'm actually still surprised at my ability to sausage-ify my tracks without actually increasing the levels like I intend. Rip. -- Used the usual suspects of the ES2 Hybrid Synth for a majority of the sounds, with the ESX24 Sampler being used for the reverb-y Marimba effect and the 'choir' section. FM8 is also used for the Pads, and Ultrabeat for the drums. Listening back, I think the high end is a bit too loud and/or a bit too noisy, so that will be edited some time later, but other than that I don't think it was too bad for my first attempt (actually fourth, but the other 3 were not published). -- Download will be available after the contest ends (judging begins today, Tuesday 28 June).

Description : This piece is an ambient thing I'm working on. Recording the guitars, vocals and bass myself. Then programmed the electronic and acoustic drum samples. Also used a few glitch samples in the background for the drums. I also added a soprano choir section over top of me for a harmony. Really could see a standoff going down on this track, fingers twitching and whanot lol. Enjoy

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
